When to bloom?

Curious at what point you put your girls into 12/12 bloom? Im doing my first grow ones indica one 50/50 hybrid. They are currently about 14" tall now. I was thinking when they get around 24" i would bloom. Does that sound right? I have an 8ft tall tent so height isnt a problem.

You gotta wait until you see the pre flowers, once they show them you know it's ready to bloom

Put them in a scrog and spread them out, when 75% of your grow area/scrog screen is filled then flip them.

if you are not topping and training them then I would switch to flowering after the get 12 inches tall. plants can double or triple in height during flowering

Honestly my first grow I just grew them from seed for 2 months then flipped to 12/12. I would say they were about that height when i switched.

Here is what I did - as the tallest branched poked up through it, I tied them to the net with soft gardening wire, then when the branch got tall enough that it could reach the next square in the net, I supercopped the branch. Just take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the branch just a bit to soften it up, do it from two sides. Then you can bend it over at a sharp right angle. and move the tie over the next square its laying on close to the tip. It will look terrible but don't worry, the branch will pop right back up and head upwards by the next day, that's why you gotta tie it down close to the tip.

The grow I'm in now aka my third I topped once and then began to train them young. Twisting and bending and lightly crunching letting the lower flowers come up. Every few days I did this from 1 month after seed and this is what I got now. 12 day into flower.

Yeah once there there it's a Lil difficult but still do able. Might take a bit longer tho. Either way is not a bad decision. Especially for first grow.

It's funny how when I look back to 8 months ago when I started this whole indoor cultivation thing how afraid I was about the whole thing. Does it smell? Am I doing this right? How much of this? 18/6 or 16/8? 12/12 then 24 darkness for x amount of time... ahhh. There is so much info.
