Quick update. Flipping to 12/12 in 4 days. 1 plant (wookie) seems like a dud, slow growth and deficient in something I can't figure out (looks like cal/mag, been feeding cal/mag, but still getting worse). I also knocked a clip on fan off a corner pole and it broke half of one of my plants on the way down, that was a total bummer as that plant looked soooo good (its the back right corner on the screen). Lesson learned, No more clip fans in places they can fall onto plants. Trying 1/2 the tent with tomato cages and the other half scrog to figure out which way I like to go since they each have their positives and negatives. Took 12 clones after 4 weeks, got 5 to root, took another 10 clones on Monday. Also popping a few beans I have been storing for ages to see if they pop, a few Upstate (very skeptical of the strain or if it is really Upstate at all), Grand Daddy Purp, and Mr.X x OG (whatever that is, its from a seed company).

2 more days until flower begins. Plants are filling the screen in nicely except for the part where half of the one plant broke and left a big hole. I decided to not keep the wookie as a mother and will flower both clones and hope between the two I can get enough to equal one of the others. I think my next round I am just going to do grape OG and blue dream because they look to be the healthiest two strains so far. A few seeds cracked their shells today but still waiting for the tails to come out.

Some pics from today.

Beatiful setup. I really dig the cob frames. I built my 5 cob frames as an H, rather than the X shape you went with. I like it. The only thing I would change about the room is the two giant fans in the center of the room. I would swith them out with 3 or 4 clip fans. You can clip them to the tent polls, side of your trellis, etc. You could then spread your plants out a bit and benefit from the overlapping light your 2 cob lights would provide. You could even build another cob bar for the middle and really take advantage of the space. I'm not talking about a big bar either - just another 2 to 4 cobs(run@50watts) in a simple frame.

@MissyGoddess looking great and cant wait to see finished results! What cobs are those? working on getting some myself my little 2x2 200w (4 Cree CXB3590) setup should be in next week, but for a 4x4 footprint thought you needed 4x4 600w-900w (12 Cree CXB3590). @MasterMiller seems to be going the same rout as you also watching his progress. If it works for yall that could save almost $1,000 per 4x4 grow area... Glad I ordered a light for my veg tent and not the bigger one for my flower area that could be some serious savings!

I did the clip on fans, when the tent was closed and the suction from the exhaust fans would pull the sides of the tent in real tight it would push the clip on fans off the poles and onto the plants. I lost half a plant that way and swore I would never do that again. If I had hard walls I would just mount big wall mounted fans, but they are too heavy to hang from the poles.

I have already learned my lesson with cheap tents and after I get 2 grows down I will be replacing them with Gorilla tents because the ones I have are already starting to fall apart.

I am growing for personal use only and did all the math to figure out my needs. I need around 30 grams of wax a month, 1lb harvest will give me about 70 grams of wax, and even a half way decent harvest on my setup should produce over a pound every 9 weeks. I plan on buying a rosintech press and making live rosin from my plants so I don't have to wait for drying and curing, but I will still do that for 1/2 the harvest, the other half will go right into a freezer.

I have watched and studied all of Growmau5's videos and from what I have seen, 500w of Cobs = 1lb if everything goes well. So I went with 10 Cree CXB3590 2700k 90cri Cobs run at 50w/1400ma off of 2 meanwell 320-1400a drivers. The more wattage you put in, the more you will harvest. If I put in 1000w of Cobs and trained the plants perfectly and kept the environment good I could get 2+ lbs out of my tent. The problem I see with that is crowding which leads to mold and mildew problems.

You can creative and create mounts for them.

What kind of tent are you currently running? I have Gorillas and Jardins and always order extra poles with them. You can get creative and come up with simple clip fan mounts. I just add an extra pole with drop down mounts - the tent doesn't touch them.

30 grams a month? I'd be in a coma.

Good luck. Looks great so far.

These are the tents I ordered. Very cheap, :(

Ya, 30 grams to replace narcotics I am prescribed, I broke my back and neck and am disabled. I do not want to be addicted to opiates or big pharma and have found a gram a day of wax seems to be a great replacement for pills and I can function better on cannabis. Pills take away the pain but make me bed ridden from side effects. I already had a medical card but I rent and landlord was on the fence about growing until it became legal in November. Once I showed him my plan was just for personal use and using tents and LEDs and in the garage so no damage or electrical problems he was ok with it.

I am looking to find more CBD strains and get into making edibles because even wax is hurting my lungs, which was the reason I gave up smoking flower.

Sorry about your misfortune. Yeah, I'm just getting over nerve damage - ulnar nerve, it's like whacking the shit out of your funny bone, but was all day, every day for several weeks. I can't stand opiates - they make me nauseous.

@MissyGoddess have you tried the Dompen or something like it? https://kushfly.com/dompen-disposable-vape-pen_medical_marijuana_delivery_shipping_california_losangeles_hollywood imagine you could find someone to make the liquid for you and just use a vaporizer. 100% smother than wax and even rosin I like them on occasion but don't really care for the effect or feel of edibles. If you can find a way to get that liquid made with your product think it would be perfect!
I make my own vape juices. I take wax and double boil it with propylene glycol to get a cannabis base, then add vegetable glycerin and flavorings. :)

Hi,
Thanks for posting these great pictures.and welcome. What is the cost of your light system in the big tent? It looks like a real winner. Did you have to build it from ordered parts or is it like a kit. That you put together your self?
