Help getting started. 1 Plant in 10 gallon fish tank (bubbleponics)

Hey everyone!

I've been a stoner for years but this is my first experience growing! I have a little space in my bathroom so I came up with the following:

Shelf, fish tank on top, bubbleponic system above, and custom made frame with mylar. I am using a 20 gallon water pump and CFLs (two at 45 ACTUAL watts).

Today I am picking up my plant and I'm curious about WHAT I should feed it and HOW much. Most guides are for 5 gallon setups. Should I just double the dose or would that be too much for one plant? Also I decided on the fish tank because I thought it would look cool to watch the roots grow, but is this overkill?
Last question, I am doing this to save money on live rosin (as it's all I smoke) and want to yield around 2 ounces if possible. Is there a strain you would suggest best for this based on my situation?

I live in SoCal. Grow space is 20" X 12" by 32" tall and close to a window in case I need to blow air out with a tiny fan for the smell.

Let me know what you think please as I don't want to kill my mini mother :)

clear container for roots is a fail. algae will get out of hand, use a bucket, they dont leak or break as often as fish tanks.
get more lights, better ones, a little hps porch light even. why would you double nutrients? read a grow bible before you plant it, its free online. you'll figure so much out it will make your head spin. you'll be very fortunate to harvest an ounce as is. I'd stick with auto flowers for your hobby, some of the best I had were from joint doctor, from a seedbank I found in a grow bible ad.

Thank you so much! That was helpful. I'm going to check out the grow bible now and spend a few hours soaking that shit in. I'll switch out the tank for a single 5 gallon bucket. I thought you needed to double the amount of nutrients due to double the size of water - my stoner logic.

What do you mean auto flower hobby? As in grow seeds and then sell off the clones?

I was hoping this space would be efficient enough for 1 plant to grow well as I read online they only needed 2 square feet per plant.

autoflowering varieties are easy grows for most, and respond well to cheap lighting often, they stay small and require little resources and fuss. they cannot be cloned traditionally. directions are on every bottle of hydro nutrients, follow them for best results. more is never better, but less often is. I believe this is your hobby, if you grow auto's, it will be your auto flower hobby grow. cfl's are never the answer after you get serious.

I could go for a different option. LED and CFL combo?

I'll let you go for any option you wish.
if you want the most out of your plants surround them with lights. if you want the most out of your lights surround them with plants.
