Awesome Bday Present
My brother stopped by and gave me my bday gift. Got me a set of the "Nectar For The Gods" Nutrient Line.
Im reading into the feed schedule now but we have heard great things about this line.
We both have a sample pack which is more than enough for a few grows in my space. 20170107_004740.jpg

LOL Hey man we are all botanists in our own labs. I'll try anything once. Haha Hell I may feed my plants my Cinnamon Toast crunch milk. You never know ;)
But seriously as I get more advanced I will try mixing and stuff like that.
When they go in 5 gallons it will be a mixture of Happy Frog and Fox Farm Ocean Forest so I should have some good nutes in there already. Im gonna try and not over do it on the nutrients though. Ill see how they react the first couple times and either hit the throttle or hit the breaks.

Ha...
Good plan...
Yeah w a soil mix that's pre nuted I'd hit em w a quarter dose if and when I feed...

This one's been runnin round 45 days on tap water only...
It's jus simplifies things for me...
Seems more "natural"...
I don't get complicated about it ...I jus mix in the soil what I know they need n what I think I'd want if I was a plant...U see if ur Afghan looking are plants are female yet?
Looking good! The Afghan ones I'm still not sure. One has preflowers starting on a few of the nodes (i think this one may be male.) The other doesnt have any. May be female and not developing as fast as the other.
Which if the one is male its going to be upsetting. It is branching and growing so well. Has a crab claw looking preflower but who knows could just be opening for a pistil.

Yeah crab claw = no good...
Never know tho could be a mistaken identity...In my experience the bushier branchier ones are fems...And I read somewhere once that it's like that by nature for a reason...Males taller n lankier to better distribute pollen to the shorter wider females waiting to receive it....
Makes sense

Day 40 for WBB and NLxG13 and Day 50 for my 2 Mystery plants.

Welp time to update. Basically its week 6. Getting down to the last couple weeks of veg. Trying veg approx 8 weeks. May go at 7, we will see. All of my lst and FIMing/topping went well. My main stems have a nice bend in them and all the branches reaching for the sky. I am maintaining a nice even canopy. For later when my scrog comes into play.
Im going to switch to 12/12 in approx a week in a half and switch over to the HPS bulb. My babies are getting bushy.20170118_143306.jpg 20170118_143314.jpg

Heres my mystery plant that I think it female. 11-12" Leaves!
The stems and growth is amazing after a full life of LST and being topped. Super thick stems!

Transplant time
Today after work I transplanted my White Blueberries and Northern Lights x G13. They went from 20oz styrofoam cups to 1 gallon pots of Happy frog.

Temp. Modification
Since my room has been getting so cool at night, I am putting my carbon filter/inline exhaust fan on a timer. Im going to have it off a lot more to raise the temp throughout day and overnight. I know it may smell more but my only option for now. Shouldnt be an issue.
Get a small $10 space heater with thermostat on it and put it on an opposite timer to come on when the lights go off

hey Mike, nice to see another person here from the mountain state.
ever hear of btk kush? it's one that was bred in WV that's true elite
status.

looks like you're off to a decent start, but the plants seem a little heavy
on nitrogen. that huge leaf is definitely present on any afghani i've grown.

Never heard of that strain but I am looking for an Appalachian strong plant. Any ideas how I could get my hands on some?
