I'm using ffof and it's fine. You don't need to feed much with it though until you are in flower. I'm just giving them a little cal mag and additives for the most part.

You can try a 50/50 mix of ffof and happy frog if it makes you feel safer.

Oh, and I don't start seeds in it. I don't use it until I transplant out of solo cups.

Hi, my name is Greg and I have forum addiction syndrome. I'm not for sale, but I am available for rental and special occasions. I just can't control myself. I'm a terrible person. I throw myself on the mercies of strangers. ;)

I am a newb myself, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Some say fox farms is great from seed to weed...others say it is to "hot" for seeds/seedlings, so start in good ol potting soil, then transplant UP to ocean forest. what stage are you at? could it be your lighting? what symptoms do you have? Nutes can burn too, I have never used them. Also I have heard ocean forest is so full of nutes you dont need any till flower. I wish we could post pics!!!!!!!!! :-)

I use fox farms happy frog and roots organics myself.
I've used both happy frog and ocean forest. The only problem was when I used ocean forest alone on seedlings. Just like Mom says, it's too hot and I got nute burn. Use happy frog, or a mix until you can tell what works better for your strains. One trick I read (maybe even here) was when you transplant, have the bottom half be ocean forest and the top be happy frog, and your plant can grow into the hotter soil as it gets bigger.

After the paper towel I started the seeds in 3 parts Happy Frog and 1 part Coast of Maine Stonington Blend. When I up potted to 1 gal pots I upped the mix to 50/50.

Hi everyone! OMG, I hate withdrawal!
Sending good vibes and wishes to the RIU website manager for speedy recovery.

Update: got my auto white widow seeds from Be4MeLiz.....and my little one "Wilma" is doing great. Got her in FFHF and RO soil, watering with PH6.5 water and liquid seaweed.

PICTURE HERE OF DAY 6
My white widow autos name is Daphne. She is 6 weeks old today. I started her in a 5 gal fabric pot with roots organic+25℅ growstones since you don't want to repot autos. The center section the size of a solo cup was light warrior. By the time she hit the hot soil she was big enough to use it.

She did great for 4 weeks. She was 20" tall with 10 tops.

Then 1 week into flower and she ran out of nitrogen. Fed her too lightly and now she's is half yellow. Noob mistakes. All 7 of my plants are yellow. A friend of mine thinks it may be too late.

its never to late, hang in there! Maybe check out this?
I was told nutrient burn can be a disaster, but nutrient deficiency can usually be fixed.
I am sure I have many MANY mistakes to come...LOL

What nutes are you using and in what strength? You probably won't get color back in the yellow leaves but the plant should recover and finish flowering. Too bad you can't post a picture

Some might call it blasphemy, but Miracle Gro potting soil and fertilizer works fine. Back in the day, I did a constant feed of 1/4 strength and got vigorous results.

My compost tea will be done brewing tomorrow when they are due for water. I have ewc, compost, roots organic Buddha grow (15ml/gal) , 2tsp earthjuice primal harvest and 2 tbsp molasses in it.

Organics take a long time to work. At this point I don't care if it is all organic. Was thinking of getting some fast acting nitrogen at the hydro shop in the morning. The soil must be bone dry of nutes.

Fwiw, pee doesn't have a lot of nitrogen. It is high in urea, uric acid, p and k, but has little n. Night soil has a lot of n. ;)

And unless they are being grown by a certain donald, I doubt they like golden showers. I'm not judging, just sayin.....

Lol

Urea is ammonia. Lots of N in there, just gotta convert it it into nitrate.

Conversion is key.

Not sure if that applies to Donalds, orange, golden or otherwise.
