Talked to a guy today and he showed me photos of how some of his plants that he started from seed, the buds we're all purple. The leave were green but the whole bud was purple. He says people told him they got a weak buzz from but gonna get some to test myself.

He has a few more to cut down and just wondering if it would be worth it to grab one of the plants and re-veg it back to full size.

Couple shots of the plant.

There's so much fire out there now, kinda pointless growing a purdy plant that's weak. I would rather grow for quality not novelty bag appeal. My $.02

I can get nigh off anything so someone else saying that its weak doesn't mean much. I did my Jamaican can't get you high test years ago. Grew it and got the deniers to smoke it. They all though it was ok and a little on the milder side. Told them its was a sat/ind mix, 6+ years later still haven't told a couple of them that it was Jamz.

I like weak strains as I don't want to be fucked for hours. If I smoke say MK I'd high for 3-5 hours. I prefer mild so I get my pain/anxiety kill and then it wears off in an hour or so, then if I want to I'll smoke some more other wise I prefer to be sober when working or doing day off stuff.

The calyx stretching at the end of the bud can sometimes indicate heat stress and poor ventilation. I've seen heat&ventilation completely destroy the potency of indoor crops before, grown during hot months of summer. So, you may find the plant is more potent if that was corrected. But I don't see why you would want to keep the plant, it won't save you much if any time.

Just want something different. Gonna buy some dry off him so will see how weak it is but just wondering if anyone has any info on it. He doesn't know the name of the seeds.

Pck from ace (or cannabiogen) has some true purple expressions. The trait isn't fixed in the strain but it's there with high frequency (3 of 4 females I ran were purple calyx).
