Hi all!

Now i need help to choose the best way (saving some money) for a trent of 2,4m x 1'2m, in this space there will be 32 plants.

How much cobs should i would use?

What would be the best combination of drivers and cobs?

Thanks!

do you want to save money on the build or save money down the road on your power bill?
Hi! I want to save on the built doing the correct combo with leds + drivers, but with not making short with the light for that space

what i mean is you can spend nearly twice as much to get 10% more efficiency/yield, so where are you on that curve

well if i only lose 10% of yield but save half of money will choose the money! Haha

Well what i need, becouse i'm lossed, is to know how much leds would be better, for example 24 cxb3590 with 6 hlg-240h-c1400A, this is one way, but perhaps can choose another drive and sace money having same yield or perhaps can save money using other cobs with same drivers or....

10% of yield 6x a year has a lot of returrn

Do you think there is a perfect correlation between effiency and yield ?
no every room is different. according to ppfd curve and its diminishing returns less ppfd will yield more grams per watt but overall yield will be reduced and you also have to have a minimum of light to get good size/quality

Think about lifecycle costs. How much are you paying for power? If electricity is cheap, fewer cobs driven at higher wattage might make sense. If your cost of power is high, more cobs driven at lower wattage may be better. The cost of drivers is probably a wash.

Now i have 1200w hps so was thinking to put 1200w led..

Yep 10% it's a lot but between cxb3590 or veros29D we have this 10%? :s

Also for that space how do you think will ve the best option?

If run at 35w each i think would go for cxb3590.

And if run at 75w i think will go for vero29 B.

You said a 35w/sw that is 24 cobs on a trent of 4x8fert no?
