Yes the best thing is fans blowing all the time but not blasting plants. Eagle 20 is the best but it pretty much toxic. Just curious what people here like. I know that Bonide Copper spray is pretty good.
I stumbled onto a VERY effective remedy
the 10k 600w metal halide bulb, I initially got it dsolely for the added UV and mixed spectrum to use with my HPS
run it in an open hood, have the intake coming in through the open hood, and the light disinfects the PM.
I ran that bulb for three grows during the last yr and CA got blasted with gnarly rains and humidity, with high temps too.
no pm, this last run I had to run with just a sole HPS and voila..
I got pm..
aquariums use UV, hospitals use UV, and meat packers/butchers use UV to sterilize
works like magic..
but ya gotta turn that bitch off before you go into the room..
that UV is damn potent stuff

side note, the mix of the 10k and the hps is BADASS for trich development also..

the extra 600 watt bulb added heat, reduced humidity too right??:P
if anything it increased humidity man, it rained for like four months straight
higher heat = more water transpiration.
temps stay the same though, ambient temps, and ambient humidity, the grow area isn't sealed at all.
think of like a barn or shed outside in the redwood rainforest..

also under that logic dual HPS would be pm free as well, and for yrs I ran those and always had pm.
the addition of the 600 Mh was the only difference.

Great info Monkeyman. Yeah be very careful of those 10K UVA or UVB bulbs. Very dangerous to be exposed tp. Even 6500/7200K is not good for eyes and skin
