Hi guys,

Ill do my best to describe the problem and the things Ive done to try and solve it by dates.

starting point: flower week 4 (13/3/17)

first grow - 2 plants of White widow.
grow with coco in 11 liter (3 gallon) fabric pot
250W HPS
watering 2 liter (0.5 gallon) every day, getting 20%-40% runoff.
PH 5.8-6
temp 20-29 C (68-84 F)
Nutes - Dutch pro
A , 3.5/liter NPK – 5-2-6 (Max recommended by DP chart)
B , 3.5/liter. NPK – 5-2-6 (Max recommended by DP chart)
Expload 0.5/liter NPK – 0.2-0.2-4
Multi total - every 2 weeks, 1/liter NPK – 0.2-0.1-0.1
Advance nutrients Cal- Mag 1/liter NPK – 4-0-0

still week 4 (18/3/17), problem starts with the left plant on a few top leaves. thinking its a Phosphorus deficiency I change a few things:
giving water only every 3 days
raise A+B to 4/liter
raise explode to 1/liter
raise Cal-mag to 2/liter
runoff start getting to 50%-60% (still giving the same amount of water)
runoff PH 6.3

week 5 flower (20/3/17), problem consist and spreading to other top leaves. Im cutting the damaged part of the leaves

week 5. (23/3/17) - the problem keep spreading. I give 32 liter of water to each of them to flush salt build up.

starting today Ive raised explode to 1.5/liter - more than what DP chart recommend.
Ive cut some more damaged parts

pics from today:

No idea what caused it.
Any help will be very appreciated

U burned it
correct me if im wrong here, nutes burn should start on the tips of the leaves first - and all of them. here I have it starting from one cola and spreading on top only.

Is the light too near to the plant?
I had problems with the height they got during the stretch, used LST on a daily basis and a week before the problem started Ive put in cool-tube.
now the distance is about 15 cm, I have another 5 to go up, Ill use it.
didnt thought about it since its just one plant that really suffer, the other one have a few spots but its not even close.

Sorry I just woke up and freaking started ranting about Potash before thinking. I meant Phos...
lol
if you see an angel other than the light, Ill be glad to hear.

Thanks a lot for the replies!

Ill update in a day or 2 if it helps and the damage stop spreading

Nah...nute burn presents in a myriad of ways depending on the strength of the chemicals and their effects on cell growth. If I wasn't 100% sure I wouldn't have left such a terse comment. No offense...it happens to everybody as you test the plants resistance towards the products you shove down its throat so to speak.

A P deficiency is going to start in the older, lower fan leaves but I think what you have there is nute burn on that one plant showing up in the top leaves because they are hotter than ones lower down and that makes it worse for them. Tossing more nutes at them will only make it worse. Way too much CalMag as well. It's not a magic bullet like so many think.

I would get rid of a lot of that lower growth too. A 250w isn't giving them enough light to keep it healthy and it's just dragging down the upper growth that does get enough light.

Good luck!

:peace:

Good news guys, Ive reduce the amount of nutrients Im giving + the distance from the light.. the problem finally stopped.
I hope the yield will still be high quality.
Removed the damaged parts.

Thank you all for the information and the help!
Ill use that as a learning experience.

Go here...Study hard grasshopper! What applies here - applies to your grow.
Ill go in to that and ill check their other videos.
thanks bro :)

I found a great spot to download FREE POT BOOKS. I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as some are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.
