How to grow autos properly

Geeze Danny!

I have to say they have a place and the popularity is (sadly) growing.

That last comparative they ran here.....I got asked to run some after saying not for me..

Didn't go out of my way to do anything for them. Stuck them in 1 gallons from solo's and let them go - pretty much.

In the end, I was rather surprised by the quality of the finished product. Each gave me just around a zip. Talking with one of the breeders over there at Mephisto genetic's. He said that if I had put them in bigger pots to start - no solo.....They would have been around 2.5 times bigger.

Skywalker kush auto.....It was "nice".....really nice...

Will I do it a again? Nope.....I got better photo's But, I'm throwing some outside he gave me to try for myself.....I want to see what they will do in the ground with care....

Not making any place for them in my indoor....After this, their off the table again.

The funny thing is, my first thought when I read the title was "toss that shit in the garbage". Seriously.
I for the most part agreed...

They still have their place for those who "can't"......I still will ignore them again after doing the cpl of outdoors that XYZ gave me from Mephisto...

The Skywalker was surprising to me and other grower friends in the area....

Got to many jacked photo strains waiting to be popped! I like "stupid quality" over "that's nice" any day!

I'm just pissed bc the few that I grew didn't respond to my careful direction. They had a direction of their own (or a preprogrammed one) that didn't include me at all. That made me angry bc I consider myself to be somewhat professional and it insulted my fragile ego, lol.
They were freebies anyway so its not like I paid for them. I lost nothing but time. I just wanted to be honest about my motives.
I guess I'm envious of the nice looking autos I see here bc I couldn't do it. Boohoo.

I don't like not having control over what I germinate and tend to for twelve weeks. It goes against everything I strive for.
Really though, I don't judge peeps for growing what they want for whatever reasons they have.
I just don't understand how any grower would give up the mastery over their medium for something as trivial as flipping a plant from veg to flower. Its not rocket science.
I admit to being somewhat of a plant snob but I am devoted to growing beautiful buds and I think having control over their growth is part of what makes it enjoyable for me.

I could never get into them either :-)

Ill admit I'm back to photos. Got a couple autos going 12/12 with them. I don't care if they get big. Just spraying them for pollen.

Those are autos? Wtf? Now why couldn't I grow shit like that?
Yes. Those are autos.

Couple of reasons. First is the tap root influences flower. Ruderalis grows where the days at long and there is permafrost. They had to develope a flowering mechanism. The tap hits permafrost and they flower. Bigger pots, bigger autos. Those were in 15 inch wide pots.

The next is feed. Feeding flower nutes will induce flowering. Feed veg nutes all the way through or at least until stretch is over.

Plant straight to final pot. No paper towels or plugs or cups. It makes a difference.
