Have you heard of this new technique? Kind of cheating IMO. Cutting a sapling and vacuum the sap!
They say the real money is in bottling sap though.

that's pretty wild! definitely beats having to wait for a tree to become mature enough and lets you have a smaller harvesting area... less lines... i can dig it. plus it's not like people are doing this in the forest if they're playing their own tree plots.... i kinda like it!

it's a labor of love that's for sure; but, wow! The stuff in the store isn't even close to being as good as the home made. I'm not being biased either; the stuff in the stores is bland. Maybe it's the smoke fire :)
I think all in all it's the mass production.
Hygiene regulations (which I wouldn't want to do without on large scale) probably ruin most of it
Love is a great spice too :-P

of course!
it's basicly the same shit as doghair, hoof/horn meal and feather meal
saaame stuff
just dont use if you treat them for any fleas or whatnot
and remember that hair takes a long time to be available, best mixed with medium and fast release sources
example, fish meal is fast, neem meal is med, doghair is slow
human hair works too if you have a lady in your life that "sheds" as much as mine does
I got to dig that scrap out of the drains every so often from my wife and daughter.

I'm like who flushed a squirrel down the pipes.:spew:

I think that's why people get sick though. We try to live on a sterile bible.

Exsposure to things will make you stronger.

I agree though for large scale production.

it IS why people get sick. we've selected from resistant strains of all kinds of bacteria and viruses. we've mutated our internal biology from what we evolved with for so long.... it's pretty crazy when you think about it.....

Yeah we but don't even need to change mass production, we just need to scrap mass production ;)
Or do it the way of water... flow around and past it :bigjoint:
And I so love learning how to do that, more every day, with you guys!
Thank you!

I am a big believer in probiotic and fermented food. I make my own em1.
oh hell yea, as important as the microbes to the organic growing.
surprisingly similar as well.
don't EVER take antibiotics unless it's a dire problem.
I also like the practice of licking the steering wheel of each car I work on also.
I call it indigenous microbe inoculations.

Here's a few shots from the weekend. Sorry for any delay for those of you following intently 8)

Start off with the current veg. On the right hand side I tried shortcutting from the cloner => 1 gal... yeah they didn't like that so much. Very stunted slow growth... they should look better than this by now.

CurrentVeg.jpg

So the most recent clones (which didn't fair all that well but rooted nonetheless) are in the pint sized containers and hope they rebound quickly. I'd really like to find something I could add to my cloner to give them nutrients while they don't have roots.... yet not make my cloner a PITA to clean after a batch of clones. I'm gonna look into it...

In the back of the veg tent are the trial 2 x 20 gal no tills; each with a brainwreck about to be bushed out. I'm gonna run both of them under one 600 watt HPS in flower so i'm gonna get them as bushy as physically possible before flipping. No DTE amendments in this mix at all.

There are two brainwrecks and a Dairy Queen in one gals and will likely get transplanted next weekend to 7 gal fabs most likely. that will be my first run of plants in the new soil mix that has all new products in it and no DTE products... can't wait to see what happens!!!

So glad to have the Dairy Queen (TGA) back in the garden.... (and it's probably happy to be in organic environment rather than coco grow like it was in lol) it's funny, the guy I gave a cut of the cheese to said it took forever for it to get used to his coco grow (salt based and bare minimum for plant growth). but when i go from his coco to my soil, it always does just fine (with a heavy rinse before transplant of course) and growth resumes as normal after a couple days.

Here's the container experiment. I forgot to switch out the bulb in the hood a few weeks ago, so it's behind where I'd like it to be... but still doing well. These are ~5 weeks here. Like I said, they seem a little behind and I blame the bulb mostly. Could be the soil mix too though, as this run still has DTE products in it... but I mostly blame the old bulb.

Brainwreck came down this weekend... Here's a nice budshot :)

Yes, thank you! :D

Ah but the container girls - dammit, I've forgotten what strain they are again and now can't find it either, sorrryyyyy - are still looking like they can catch up?... you did switch the bulb this time?! :-P haha

That Dairy Queen has an amazing structure - I daresay you could just let her grow up against a wall without any extra training :blsmoke: Very pretty!!

Oh and sorry to be annoying, but, how tall is that veg space of yours? Cheers!

annoying?? pft... never! You are always encouraged to bother me :D

the container exp. is with the confidential cheese. yes i remember to switch the bulb this past weekend... at week 5 LOL. ah well... maybe they'll surprise me after the fish hydrolysate bump and the newish bulb

The DQ is a great plant... very unique structure and yes.... easily trainable (unlike her master  )

the veg space is 6.5 ft tall (~2m). I'm gonna need to upgrade to a larger veg tent soon... i'll be running out of room with the no tills in there!!

Few Shots from last weekend. Sorry, I been mega busy and haven't got to spend much time around here! Hope everyone is doing well!

Current veg. two no-tills (1st run) are going into flower this weekend. Can't wait to see what these things do!Veg.jpg

Couple of shots of the Con Cheese from the "container experiment". They're coming down this weekend. i'll have the results in ~2 weeks i'd say.
