The ultimate goal of legalisation is not the profits people have been making in this transitional period.
But to allow people to grow and access for personal use on their own property in the privacy of their homes. At virtually no cost.
The truth is if you have even average soil, if you put a seed in there and water it when it shows it is thirsty, you are going to grow acceptable weed.
We all like tomatoes, almost none of us would be willing to pay for tomatoes grown under paid-for lighting in hydro absolutely requiring fertilisers.
Instead, we have it farmed outdoors and in season, and import, as well as keep some in cold storage for use throughout the year.
Why should weed be different. I think all this crossing and artificial horticulture would, in the long run, make weed less able to survive and thrive in nature or the garden.

you all act like this oppressive regime will stay in place for more than 4 years. hunker down, stockpile, continue your charitable acts, and wait for the next administration. and GET THE FUCK OUT AND VOTE against everyone who supported this lunacy, and for whoever has a sane platform. i guess thats no guarantee they'll get elected, but i'm pretty sure trump won't get a second term. if he does, i'm packing myself in a crate and getting shipped with tty's stuff to canada

i try to give it a fair market value.. it pays rent and . nutes used along with power, or is it outdoor grown . which will give it a far lesser value. which he majority of coloradans do.. to flood market with seeded nonsense that turned female cuz the other half seeded it, and are stoked cuz they get a few bucks.and dispensaries blast them 99$ rec specials. there's a reason its cheap..
you got some kid that mixed in silica with the cal.mag in week 5.. "is that supposed to happen??" as he pours it in " or they got so much pm or webbing on it...
it.then gets pulled for trimmers who use safety scissors.{ they dont throw it away..}
gives it week of drying time puts it all together with that weeks other boo-boo..AKA" the pre weigh specials.. then out of towners/mules see that and assume all weed is that price..or heard they got some in denver for 12 or 13.. but its seeded or maybe a jack move. where they lose everybody's lunch money..cuz of greed. so the 30k for 30 bows of high quality indoor is a myth. its last years outdoor that someone is BSing you.. , weed taken /stolen, or the cops. looking for easy marks.. cuz there is no way you can profit selling your indoor under 15 if u put in all costs and ROI legally. and would want return customers . ie. growing your best.imho..
I said nothing about how much people charge. I do not care about that side. I was speaking on production cost, the actually cost it takes to produce a pound. Not what people sell it for.

100 light indoor-100 lbs a month

Monthly
Rent-6000
Power-7000
Water/sewage-1200
Nutrients- 1500
Rockwool-2500
Bulbs-800
General maintenance-600
Equipment (anything without lifetime warranty)- 1000
Labor-8000
Trimmers- 20000

$49,300 a month.

So just under 500 a pound.
Nice breakdown of the cost, but don't forget the taxes.
In my state it's $50 an ounce. This adds an additional $80,000 to that figure.
That's $1293 a pound.

Yep. Until weed is graded by an independent arbiter, it won't really be a commodity... But everyone remembers a low price.
