General Colorado Thread

Doood , I swear I saw a mountain lion yesterday right in the
middle of town (kind of)

I saw it around Garden of the Gods and Chestnut, but just a tad south in the wooded area..a medium sized Mountain Lion.

Is this possible? Or was I really stoned?
Edit: It was gray in color, with black highlights too big to be a ” tom-cat”
No fuckin way it was a dog either.

You might have seen a bobcat, always check for long tail to aid identifying types of feline

I know someone in the Springs who had a mountain lion in their yard a number if years ago. It is completely possible that you saw one.

One of my neighbors put out a trail camera in a drainage ditch across the street from my house and got some good video of a mom cougar with 2 cubs. They were most likely in town for a hunting lesson. Those outdoor house cats and small dogs make for easy prey...

You really can't pick a bad spot to live unless u end up in the southeast corner of the state...it's freakin hot, dry and very conservative
