DIY with Quantum Boards

@robincnn

I picked up the 260 kit on the last go and it is the 304 QBs. Is the wiring still the same as the 288? I am about ready to build mine and just making sure that I am doing it right. I thought the 260 kits were the 288 only. Thanks in advance.

Filling orders with 2X QB304 and HLG-240H-C1050A if available.
If QB304 not available then 2X QB288 and HLG-240H-C2100A

yes wiring is same for 260 kit. boards go in series.

Hey! That Chemdogging reeking yet? And OMG. after you chop it.......... I thought my cat died in the house.......but.I don't Have a cat......
It is DANK! I got a punch to the face today when I opened the tent LOL. I cannot wait to Smoke this stuff man hoping it helps me get to sleep. It's exciting right now because my stash is low and I have (4) plants flowering at different ages......all autos lol.........

But the photo's are vegging and waiting to come in :bigjoint:

I also got another two headed Cola this time on the Chemdogging. Have one on one of my Deep Blue C F2's as well. Now with the output under control and proper for the space this light is rocking. Really tough call so far between it and the Autocob's I know you're testing both as well.

Got my QB ordered, I don't need it but I had to have one...I've been running cobs for a couple grows and have noticed
that some seedlings skip a step in their leaf finger progression... Going 1-3-7-9 instead of 1-3-5-7-9... Anyone else see this? Just curious..

I've got a little veg tent, 80cmx70cmx60cm h. I'm planning to use it for seedlings and culinary herbs. 2 qbs seems like a good match, but I don't know how hard I should run them for a 2ft-ish tall tent. I'll need to be able to dim though.

Edit: I would also like advice on K, can't keep up with the latest knowledge lol.

It's six square feet. I realize I can't run them full speed, but I'm planning on using it to shorten veg in my 4x4 tent. The tent fits my space, it will be good for seedlings for veg -about a week + I got a bargain on it. I could go for some strips, but that would add lots to complexity. And qbs run really soft is really efficient allegedly, so there's that. Besides, after following this thread and reading every post I really want some lol.

Edit: if the masters think one qb would be just as good as two I'm definitely open for that.

Looking for some opinions. Is it better to run 4 boards on one driver or two boards per driver? I ordered the 288s and just can,t seem to decide.:confused:

@Stephenj37826 I'm sorry to bother you but I would love enlightenment lol. Six ft2, 2 ft-ish tall tent. I can't help but think your qbs are about perfect for the low ceiling, run soft as a kitten in cotton candy. How hard would you run it for seedlings/early veg and culinary herbs? And what's the current thinking about Kelvin for the boards? I've seen lots of people have height restrictions, even if the big players make fun of me lol.

If you are brave you can actually cut the 288's in half. They put a line to show you where to cut. Voids the warranty of course.

But it will give you square boards that still run at 54v.
