that looks nice there sure seems to be a lot of fuss over this strain I just gotta see what all the commotion is all about lol
Me too! I was fortunate enough to receive a clone a few weeks ago. I've seen some beautiful pics of the "mother" of my clone. If she turns out anything like her mother she will be fabulous!

she is just starting to show some root development she was rootbound in the r/w cube when I got her & the brown is starting to go away my leaves got kind of a curly krinkle to them on some of the new growth I'm thinking the only way I'm gonna know for Shure is gonna be to run her on out & see what she does IMG_1568.JPGIMG_1569.JPG

Mine came thru the mail and looked crinkly for awhile. As you can see in the pic, it straightened out, and the clones I took from it look much better.

the weather has been a scorcher I moved the babies into my downstairs room which is below ground level & put them under a cfl until the heat passes & they get rooted better IMG_1607.JPGIMG_1608.JPG

I was greatly disappointed with my GG#4 from DHN because I received a dud clone. GG#4 is known to shoot out dud branches, if those branches are used to make cutting, now you have dud clones circulating. Most people aren't aware of the GG#4's dud branch issue, and I'm not even sure if Dark Heart is, either. For your sake I hope they figured it out and you don't suffer the same fate I did.

I still trust and use Dark Heart Nursery clones. It's not like they passed off inferior genetics on purpose, it wasn't intentional, and like I said hopefully its been addressed.

Good luck.
Huh? How could you address something like that? Strange. Never heard of that one before. Might of been why i culled gg#4...several times.

They could address it by replacing their dud GG#4 mothers with the true cutting. It's not like they'd need to make an announcement about it on social media, just a quick swap out, and everyone's happy.

The gg4 cuts I had gotten from Ellemental wellness in San Jose, which i do believe they were dhn, fucked my setup up for more than a year. Even if the cut isn't visably sick at first, the dud can and will come out eventually from my experience. And it fucking spreads too!
My setup/s have been clean for a good year now. Finally confident the dud bullshit is gone.

It wasn't the first time dealing with that dud shit though. The first was bluedream cuts from harborside around 2006ish. But at least this time, other people were dealing with it and posting about it online. I sware I was going crazy up until then lol.

My advise for anyone with gg4:
Only take cuts from the very top of plants and replace mommas often.

Credit for that advise goes to other people, but it had everything to do with me getting rid of the horrible dud syndrome.

How do you mean it spreads? Like an airborne "dud" virus??? Like you get a bad cut of gg and it can fuk up other strains in the garden that youve been running?? Never heard of that one either.

But what if a "true cutting" of gg that you get is a dud as well? Or are you saying that "dud" cuts arent real gg#4? Iam confused here.

Like you got say 2 dud gg#4 moms. Scrap them. Get gg#4 cuts from someone else. How do you know that grower isnt circulating the same dud cuts?

What i have found for getting a clone only to blast off if its acting wierd through time is take a nkce healthy cut and run it outside during the season. Just before flowering starts...take cuts. Bring em inside and run em. For some reason it "resets" the whatever to bring that fire back. Been doing this for years then I read over at mns forums that Shantibaba does the same thing.
