Right now im using 5-12-26 + cal nitrate + 5-50-18 in varying ratios for veg and bloom. little bit of epsom salts in bloom. my first full cycle with it, will report back. i wasnt super crazy about the runs i did with 3-2-1 but there could have been other factors since im always changing stuff.

cobkits has reduced my time with the girls so everything is a compromise, trying to find balance like danielsan

Hey cobby :) a friend is planning a space tote (bucket build), and I'm wondering how many cobs and which driver to use? I like the gen3 cxm22 90cri 3500k as an all rounder since it has to be dual purpose? Flowering and veg.. Anyway he wants to use a mars hydro 300 and can get one for cheap, but will cobs be better?

How soft would he have to run cobs to only need a round ally plate they're stuck to? It would have a fan pulling air straight over it all. I wanted to advise on 2x cxm22 3500k 90cri @15w ea + 1x luxeon 2200k @20w? You can't drive different voltage cobs off the same driver can you? Do you have any driver recommendations?

Cheers legend Coblet.

What happened with the 185-48B in series with 5v supply?
I ended up just canning the idea. I don't want to have PSU's hooked up to each other when I'm not home. Figured I'd bite the bullet and buy proper drivers. Don't want to worry about anything going wrong, and I'm not quite electrical inclined, so I don't have a lot of confidence in out of the normal setups.

I do appreciate your help though trying to get me out of that bind I put myself in. Just gotta sell the old drivers now.

Anyone else using Luminus CXM22 Gen3 3000K 80 CRI for veg + bloom? Just germinated my seed, planted and waiting for it to poke it's head out before I flick the light on.

Waiting for the seedling to sprout. Should I be having the grow light on now, or wait until I see it poking out, or does it matter? I forgot what I did my 1st time.

i am but i added a little extra blue for veg
My current setup: 4 Luminus CXM22 Gen3 3000K 80 CRI + HLG-185H-48A

wired in parallel

Can you recommend two blue spectrum COB's for this setup so that I connect to one power supply with a switch? I will be switching off the CXM22 3k's during veg state... and i will probably turn off the blue cob's for flowering.

here is my current frame with 4 cxm's.

@CobKits is the max current for the 240h-54 listed correctly on your site? In the description it says they have a max current of 5.1A but the Mean Well data sheet states a max of 4.45A for both the A and B version. I almost ordered them for a 1818 build but I think I'm going with the 48A instead after finding out it doesn't run at 5+ amps.

Thanks

I guess the B models just cant go where the A models go

with 2 1825s on there, at 52V it was right at 4.5A/230W, which is just a shade above the 185-48A's 4.2A/220-225W

corrected the page, thanks
