Went out to em today they looked really droopy tips looked dead and sure enough soil was bone dry gave em water hoping they will be perked back up by tonight
It's raining here. I'm at work thinking about the sprouts I put in the clear plastic tote. I will have to run by there after work to poke a hole in the tote or move them.

Some water is good. Too much water is bad.

I called the wife to ask how much it had rained at the farm. It rained hard for a few minutes, then tapered off. About what it did here at work. If it was pots, I wouldn't worry. But with the little pots, they will drown in an inch.

I let the plants decide if they are going to live or not. My two LOB'ed Peach decided to get ate by fucking termites. I had cinnamon, but hadn't thought to put it around the plants.

Went out looking for spots to lay some late plants out for later and kinda sullen the flood/tornados have really destroyed alot of old trees and areas I've grown fond of. Some areas just ripped up most to all the vegetation geuss that's how praries are made haha but good thing is lots of open spots for small plants

I've been going into two new areas this week. Both were planted pines, but got clear cut and wasn't planted back. Lots of 8-12 foot volunteer pines, plus oak, holly, persimmon, huckleberry, briars, grapevines and just about anything else you can think of. Still a little too open for me, but I was able to find spots for a few holes. I need to count holes and plants, and see if I need to pop more seed or dig more holes. {who am I kidding. I will pop more seeds}

Sounds like a perfect place for the ten gal late plants!
