All the Hurricane Head GN had cashed. Can't remember how many there had been. Starting 50 odd sprouts in cups right as the monsoon starts isn't a good idea.

I also got three holes dug by dark thirty last night, 100 yards north of the three above. Not very much cover. I wouldn't try those spots starting a month earlier.

Alright. I looked back, and the three cashed seedlings in HG where there is a skip in the pines were Rotten Stinking Bastard Squared. And the 6 in the three holes is HGw are B&S X CP1's.

It rained all day today, so I got out and dug some holes. I did 4 more in PPN, more or less in line with the two I had done yesterday. I did find two of the lost holes from the Spring crop.

Also did 2 holes in PPS, a little ways to the SE of where the BS Squared was in the Spring crop. All got 5 gallons of soil in a 10 gallon hole. I remembered to pack in leaves for camo. I think this will be enough in this little woods. There is a little soil left, but I will add it when I transplant.

Almost forgot to mention that I ran by and covered the seedlings with a clear trash bag on the way to work. A couple of them were laying down. I'll try to plant the worst of them tomorrow evening or Thursday morning. Not sure where I'm going to put them. HG has turned into a BST patch, so don't really want to risk putting the good stuff there. I had planned to keep most of the BST crosses in the JP patch, but I had holes ready in HG and not in JP when they were falling over, so that is where I put them.

I get worried about my plants 3x that size lasting outdoors, seedlings seem so vulnerable but it is a numbers game. Are the plants regular or some femmed?

All my seeds are regulars. The 20 in the pots were bought or gifted. All the rest were BST's or crosses I had made. Going into small cups, you can expect a higher than normal cash rate. But on the other hand, you can pack a lot more plants in that way. When pots and seeds are free and soil mix is cheap, planting six is just as easy as planting one. And doesn't take up that much more room in the nursery.

The rain wasn't as heavy today. I still ran by there early and put a shower door over the seedlings.

Five had cashed in all. 3 of those were the PNXSMC X AC and PNXSMC X GdR sprouts I had transplanted just a few days ago. I guess they drowned. The 2 good ones were cut off just below the first set of leaves. They were a BS Squared and a GdR.

Also ran by STL. Everything was still pointing in the right direction.

Hornet nest hole/ CP1 Squared. The rain was causing these to dance around, so the stems should be getting stronger. {and I did bury them deep}
