Seen commercials for it but haven't caught a episode yet, they make a show like this every couple years kinda like drug inc. sometimes theyr good most times just stupid and doesn't really paint a clear pucture about the illicit drug trade

i caught about an hour or so of it yesterday, but hadn't realized it was on again right away, thought maybe it would be a sunday night thing..
what i saw was pretty good, a lot about nixon and his jailing of timothy laery, and his using the so called war on drugs against the hippies and the blacks, both of which is considered enemies

It made it to the 80's tonight. Oliver North and contra. Much more.

If it shows what its morphed into it will be a good piece.

Its had people on there talking about it going all the way back to presidents knowing and the US protecting drugs that are coming in.

I'm surprised at how deep the shit goes. I' m mean we all know the war on drugs is for crooked reasons but to actually see it.
i liked the part about the movie the french connection, and how they said all of the heroin that the cops brought in during the bust went right back out of the pig shop and back on the streets.. people were buying french connection heroin while the movie was in the theaters

i've pretty much always believed the drugs confiscated in busts never went to some incinerator to be burned, but some how made their way back to the streets in one way or another.. just way too much money to be made for them to simply burn up all of the profits.. with the way forfeiture laws are set up today, and cops will bust you and take pretty much anything they can, your house, your car(s), your money, and turn around and sell those things for profit, you really expect me to believe that they're simply going to burn money in the way of drugs when they can simply make more money from them? suga please..

You can apply that credo to EVERY fucking illegal drug.
true, but i honestly don't think the worst thing about say, heroin, is the fact that it's illegal.. it surely doesn't help getting arrested for simple possession of drugs, trust me, been there, done that, got the orange t shirt, but i also think the addictive properties of some drugs kinda out weigh the illegality.. ehh, now i'm thinking about, it's a toss up, lol..
