Ahh - I missed the aluminum warning.

Manufacturers claims for Arctic Silver 5 and Antec Nano Diamond are both similar in the 8.5W/m-K range. But I generally take such manufacturer claims with a grain of salt. The exception to that rule is 3M. Their stuff is marketed to industry rather than the consumer and their conductivity numbers are spot on. Their TCG-2035 is rated at 4.1 W/m-K. I read a paper recently that did a comparison test of several different compounds, (for thermal control in electric vehicles) and the 3M stuff bested the others by a good margin - one of them being Arctic Silver 5, which did not even come close to its 8.5W/m-K claim - it was less than 1W/m-K. I'll post a link to the document if I can find it again.

i sent 25 of the ones in the older photos to a seller here to test
apparently they were not as efficient as they should be
they are working well for me but it may have been bait n switch
idunno if the seller even wants to sell any of those
i used the 25 i had..hahaha..and moved my light 1/2 in closer[joke]

here are the new samples..the 2700k sounds fun too

we decided on still using 80 cri..

dif led config..he said they will also"test them"

if they test great then they did bait n switch on the first samples..

i had mentioned to the factory guy that DIY is a tough crowd to please and they always want the newest and most up to date versions

the four holes in the middle are for a fan if heatsinks are not used..

with one piece of channel alumium attached to each length of the pcb as a type of frame..with the fan mounted on top @

160 w does not even get near hot..in fact barely warm and is a simple cost effective method

i have two panels and two fans on a 320 w driver also....

Here are two more ready to attach to drivers

each panel is a 250 w 3000k driven at 100w each

i had to raise the first one i made because it was too much for some of the sativas

i shoulda started higher then moved it down

with a decent fan in the room they do not need heat sinks

after my coffee

will hook up the dual panel grids with muffin fan on

each that are driven at 160 w .

have both of these configurations over plants and need to get more running

will also do a couple at 125 w each

so far pretty good..the flowering stage will tell the tale
