So now backing legalization makes them useless pieces of crud? You'd rather it stay illegal so it doesn't interfere with your income? I'd rather my kids not face charges for possession and consumption. Might be time to go legit, Bob, they aren't going to stall legalization to aid your finances.

C. Licence to produce

Amend the Act to create an exemption to the criminal offences provided in the CDSA with respect to the production of cannabis. A Canadian resident may obtain a licence to produce cannabis. The resident must undertake to only sell to duly licensed distributors; to sell only marijuana and hashish with a THC content of 13% or less; to limit production to the quantity specified in the licence; to take the measures needed to ensure the security of production sites; to keep detailed records of quantities produced, crops, levels of THC concentration and production conditions; and to submit to departmental inspections.
You'll have to buy special low potency strains I guess.

This is pertaining to growers who wish to go legit and sell their product to LP's. It has nothing to do with joe average growing his 4 plants. Buy as high potency as you can find for personal consumption or to 'share' with your friends.

Nope, it would be grown from "illicit seeds" and therefore would be illicit cannabis. Sorry, schwag only in Canada, other than for medical purposes. We need to protect the kids against good weed. It's all about the kids.

You don't think the Senate will allow "super-potent" weed to be openly sold do you? Though oddly they seem to want 16 year olds to be able to buy weed, that's what the pdf said, not 18 but 16. The Senate Special Committee are apparently a bunch of crazy people. Oh yes, that's a marvelous idea, selling weed to minors.

The senate isn't going to know or care who is growing what strain and the public isn't going to pay for an army to test 4 plants in every household in the country. If 16 was the legal age, they wouldn't be minors, would they? Remember when the age for buying smokes was 16? It wasn't that long ago. You are fighting a losing battle AGAINST legalization

Fact remains the govt wont be able to under cut the BM, PERIOD. Theyve decided on $9/g plus taxes. 'nuff said
They expect it to stay around $8 up to 2020 at least. Just gotta cut out those illegal dispensaries who are driving prices down. At least I guess they must be, why else would people go in there? Doesn't sound like they'll hurt the BM much, with $9 13% THC weed. I wouldn't try to run an illegal dispo though. They'll be right on their asses.
