Is there a blue spectrum bulb I can buy for my gavitas. Is this the only bulb?

I have a solis tek 10,000k de bulb. it is the only MH DE bulb with UV that works in an open fixture

That a ceramic metal halide bulb. For best performance it needs to be paired with a low frequency ballast. High frequency ballast don't work well with CMH from my experience.

My buddy said he uses them in gavitas something to do with it being only 945 watts
I also use solistek in my veg room awesome bulb but apparently gavitas only use a hps bulb

Thanks nick. That's sure cheaper than I was paying. Do you use these in your gavitas? I didn't want to try it in my ballest for fear of it exploding or something bad to the ballest

Are you running a DE or SE bulb in your Gavita? If SE the Super HPS bulb from hortilux is affordable and has more blue than it use to and if DE the Hortilux DE 1K bulb looks like a winner. I have not used the DE one but have the SE and the 600 watt Blue MH from hortilux too. I am a fan of the bluer spectrums myself but never found the Super HPS lacking in comparison to my Blue MH.

HPS is just short for high pressure sodium which is a type of bulb in hid lighting. Gavita is one of many brands that sell fixtures lights etc. They are one of the better known brands but not the only game in town.

*Caution: Solis Tek MH bulbs can only be used on SolisTek DE Reflectors, Gavita, ePapillon, Nanolux, and a few other complete DE fixtures.

That price is sure a hell of a lot cheaper then I paid from the growstore

Wait, these solis tek bulbs DO NOT WORK IN GAVITAS. Just put one in and threw the circuit and it blinked that's all. It did not ruin the ballest or the bulb.

I like how these companies say their products work when they don't. Saved me some money. Digilamp 945 on the other hand do they are just a lot more $$ so I was looking for a cheaper bulb

been using my solis tek in my gavitas for last 6 months. make sure the ends are in the slots properly, i have seen people not install de bulbs correctly and they won't fire

No they just quick blink
