last year this time,it was the norm to find a tick on me every time being out, not as bad here this year. None attached yet

If I may add some advice. I like the basics of what you are doing, but you need to start training those plants. You are already a bit behind.
Check out the Mendo dope grow from seed videos on youtube. ignore the microphone stand. Look at how they keep tieing down taller branches, and how that changes the shape into a proper tree.

I prefer topping,those plants r 3x3x4 nice even canopy been topped at least half dozen times
