Help! Bug identification needed

Hello all

As I checked my veg plants tonight, I noticed some small black specks on leaves.

Turns out it is some sort of bug, but I can't tell what it is. Black body with red legs, definitely visible without a microscope. No apparent webbing. The only thing I can think is that it's some sort of spider mite. The leaves look somewhat eaten and have lighter colored spots.

Any ideas as to what this is?

They are spider mites. I've had them a few times and it's not good at all!!! Good luck.
