Hi,

Forgive my n00bness but I've been watching this plant's calyxes start to puff up over the last week or so, and I'm wondering if she's approaching time for harvest. The reason I ask is although she looks mighty good, she's not as dense/hard as some of my plants still maturing. What's even more surprising is, I didn't keep track of how long this individual plant has been growing for but I would bet its just about 60 days from seed which seems unbelievably short for me. This plant went off and started to flower at day 18 or 20 if i recall, bizarre (to me).

The plant is in a 2L pop bottle with soil/perlite/vermiculite mix, and have been using BeastieBloomz/Cha-Ching and high-brix molasses over the last 2 to 3 weeks for ferts. Lighting is 2x 600W mars hydro LEDs, so 1200W of light in some areas where the light overlaps.

I prefer a more couch-lock stone btw, but don't like it putting me to sleep if that's even possible lol

Thanks

I'd say 10 to 14 more days . I don't do auto flowers so I couldn't be definitive on that.. I guess the best way would be as any other check the trichs.

I have never done autos but from what Im seeing and what I know Id flush her and harvest within a week. The amber trichs are actually your thc breaking down..so if about 10% are amber its time to harvest. By the time your done flushing you wiil get more amber..sometimes they change fast as shit.

Thanks everyone for the prompt replies. I'll give her another week on Cha-Ching nutes, then switch to just molasses and water for another week before chop. Its tough being out of any smoke, but I could use a break anyway :)

Wait, and did you say it's 60 days from seed? Maybe it's 60 in harvest? What's your light schedule?
60 days from seed, maybe 70 at most, running the lights 20/4. These bubbleberry autoflower seeds I bought grow extremely fast and vigorous but seem to stay really short which I'm not exactly fond of. If the seeds weren't so expensive I'd buy a bunch on bulk though because the strain seems to grow better/faster than everything else I have in the tent and has little to no smell.

Here's a shot of one in my aerogarden bounty LED at day 34 from seed:

(some yellow on the leaves due to root rot, even worse out of frame....I didn't realize I had to run the pump 24/7 so the water ran out of oxygen with 9 plants growing (veggies and 2 mj plants). The issue has since been rectified using bleach in the reservoir every 2 days over the course of a week...taboo but worked. Tons of new roots exploding out of the brown ones on every plant.)

Ooooooooooooo they're autoflowers. Ok, I must of missed that part. :D

But still, just like you said, amazing and vigorous growth. I'll write down the name and if I ever go back to autoflowers, this is the strain I'll buy. :D

Soda bottle. That's cool. I clone in one-gallon water jugs and little MMJ canisters inside of that with 2-4 clones. Recycling even one time on an item is good for Mother Nature.

They look ready. A week might be too long if you already got amber trichs.
I usually pick when I see any real amount of Amber trichomes.
Next time you're on Amazon get a little ten dollar microscope if you don't have that yet.
It's easier to see the clear to cloudy to Amber transitions. Some buds don't bulk up much and simply go Amber color while you wait, thus dropping your THC levels.

Honestly at this point id throw the cha-ching nonsense in the trash, you got massive tip burn all over hell already. 3-1-2 at 1ec tapering down to 0ec to chop in a couple weeks is all you need, further poisoning of the plant wont increase yield.

So glad to have found this! I know absolutely NOTHING about how to do this so I bought the Aerogarden, threw some seeds in and off we go! I am worried reading all this stuff about root rot, mites, etc. Would I know if that happened? I bought some nutrients not sure how much to use. HELP!!

Never judge maturity based on the trichomes on the sugar leaves as they mature faster than the ones on the calyxes. You ALWAYS want to look at the trichomes on the actual buds.
