DIY with Quantum Boards

I understand the number of photons are increased by the increase in quantity of lights.
You should be at 800-900 range with that quantity.....
Really ? if all 9 boards are being driven by one hlg-280h-54b ( about 555ma per board ) ?
Im getting a headache lol

So I'm having a problem with my qb 120's. I wired them up wrong to begin with, quantum light pics 2 and 4. After getting some direction I got the wiring right but they don't come on, quantum pic 1. I thought the driver may not be working do I made a test rig from some 12v light bulbs, quantum driver test pic 3, driver seems fine with the bulbs. I have been in contact with HLG and they have been responsive, even on a Sunday, just asking here also, hopefully I didn't screw them up with my first wiring mistake.

Minimum voltage for that driver is 43 volts, so if you tested with just one, its probably toast. Looks to me you wired in parallel. Again, too much voltage, these need to be in series on this driver to get the correct voltage to your boards.

I have a question for everyone that mounts their drivers remotely.

I am trying to find out how to connect 3 of them in my mechanical timer without having to extend the Input side of the drivers.

I need inspiration or a new point of view, I have yet to find a solution that is clean
I run mine remotely in a control box and feed the drivers inside with a piece of sjow with a male cordcap on it plugged into my timer here is a pic

Chopped this thing today, not happy with the pheno what so ever but noticed something odd (it's much more apparent in person). For some reason the left third or so of the tent has SIGNIFICANTLY smaller colas, all of them, while the entire rest of the plant filled out much much more, to the point that allot of them were starting to fall over.

The only difference is I have a tower fan hung horizontally blowing at the cannopy. Everything to the right of the line below got hit directly with the fan, while everything to the left was below the fan and not moving much. This is the only thing I can think of. Now I have a ton of air movement in there so it wasn't completly stagnet, just not getting slammed directly by the fan.

Had the 4x QB 288's down to a total of 200w in the end on this one, the next guys are getting ready under a 2 board 260 kit and they probably wont ever see 300w like the last ones (burnt them bad).

They are sitting at about 140w right now and the QB is at the top of the tent.

What size tent are you running the 4 QBs in?
