Hi

I'm considering these LED Grow lights from Clas Ohlson. Would they do the job. Figured that I would buy 4.
If I'm going to be using these lights, what mode should I be using in the life cyclus of the plant. only planning to grow 1? I myself believe that maybe to have two of them on mode 1 and the other twon on mode 2 for the first weeks, then switch all of them to mode 2, then when flowering season comes, I'll switch to mode three.

They have Three modes:
1. Seedling state 5W 450nm blue light
2. Vegging both 450 and 650 nm 9W
3. Flowering both but quite more of the red spectrum.

See figure below.

I've never used them. One thing you may consider is most growers don't use 600-1000watts of energy bc they like their power bills high.

40 watts of light may be sufficient for seedling/small starts but it definitely won't produce much flower.

Mars hydro is kinda known for the bottom of the barrel led lighting options and even their smallest lights are putting out about a true 150watt pull from the wall. (Note that they may call a mars 300 but it's only 150 true watts)

Growing indoors can have a high start up cost, I would suggest looking on Craigslist for used equipment if on a budget.

Just my opinion. Good luck.

If your going to look for used lighting see if you can get your hands on a CLW Solar Storm 440. I've got one that I run in my 3x3x6 tent and it does great work for a 3 year old blurples.

72LPW and an L70 life of 25000hours. these sound like very low quality LEDs and with 4 of them you might cover 1 sq/ft and would be real lucky to get 1/2 ounce of low to medium quality smoke. you would do better with one of the cheap LED grow light from e-bay but you will need to spend money to get an LED that would actually be worth using

If you're using them for seedlings or supplement light for veg. I could see them working out for you. You'll never get them to bloom, it just isn't enough light, no matter how great the spectrum or how close you can put them
