@robincnn can you update the specs on the website for these boards? make a chart like the other boards. I see they can be run from 10 to 60 watts and 11x9.5 in size. But do you have any LM/W stats, umol, etc?

FV per board? 24v?

Is there any reason these couldn't be used like normal q boards? if you put 12 of them over a 4x4 running 50 watts, that seems like it would do great.
They definitely don't need heatsinks. I'm running mine at full power (254 watts at the wall, four QB120s), and they're barely warm to the touch.

I'm using mine like normal quantum boards. Opted for four of them over my 2.5x2.5 space, rather than a single 260 watt kit made of two 288s or 304s. Loving it.

Edit: I believe the DC connector version is 24v, but the Molex version is 300v.

Oh, and what I meant was that I'm glad I've been seeing more QB120 builds. There are a few of us out there - I've even seen an 8xQB120 flowering fixture with UV bulbs mounted in the middle. But yeah, I'd like to see even more!

I thought it was posted on HLG's site, but I just checked (can't recall it myself, tbh), and I don't see any specs? Could have sworn they were there when I first ordered mine. Anyway, Robin could tell you.

Quantum 288 ( 3000k ) - infinity room

Well going to week 5 on Monday and figured I would check in on them.
Green Crack and GSG girls are love the quantums , running max on a 12/12 cycle .

Buds are building up nice and I even did a few back building snips on some of the buds .
Just a couple to do an experiment. So I figure a month on these girls will be approx. chop time .....

For a rig ONLY doing 260w .... It is growing these 3 plants very well without any problem.
Originally I figured I would have to do optics , but I think I will stay like this.

So you could run 9 of them in series on a HLG-480H-2100

push about 57 watts each per board and you have a 515 watt DYI light for around $425 (boards, driver, and frame)

I would imagine this would give amazing coverage in a 4x4 tent. I mean, its not as nice as a Kind XL1000, i mean clearly. But i guess i can suffer with it...

how would you (anyone chime in here) run them? Straight 3000, or 4000 or 5000k, or a mix.

So is what i am seeing here is something like a big cob, but with better coverage, lower FV, no heat sink needed, and made with high end leds. Yeah, I'm in...

push about 57 watts each per board and you have a 515 watt DYI light for around $425 (boards, driver, and frame)

At first I thought you were serious about the kindxl1000 got a good laugh from that haha

However, 3 boards only slightly exceed a QB304 in chip count so the light produced by the QB120 is only about the equivalent of 1/3 of a QB304. Makes more sense economically to run the QB 288 0r 304
as three boards cost as much as 1 qob 304 with a heatsink! 1 to 2 boards in a small space or as veg lights to replace T5s seems a better use.

That said, I loved to see you or someone build such a light! Vertical scrog, 9 boards you can probably run the close to the plants......

I've found that you can run the 120s much closer to the canopy; that, along with the spread of the diodes, provides excellent coverage, and a shit-ton of light. I have every confidence that the QB120 provides the makings of a great flowering light when you build it right. I'm loving mine, and I'm not wishing I'd gone 288 or 304 instead!
