Strongest strain commercially available

I think those people growing for the market are going to zig when the market zags.
Everybody is growing stronger and stronger weed, all the new people entering the scene crossing paths with them is enough to put many people off.
Taking in more THC than your body can handle is not nice for anyone. I would work on some nice flavored mid-potency weed with a nice mouth taste.

I think attaining the old school flavor weed strains is going to take some time because those stinky terpenes were what growers tried to breed away/out back in the days when it was a sure prison sentence if you got caught growing. The less stinky the better -just so long as the THC levels were increasing.

Many of the....let's call them...."The New School" of growers have never known what us old guys know very well -insofar as heavy-smelling/tasting strains go. They know lemony and piney strains and light berry flavors combined with a focus on higher THC....

....but that isn't where it's at!

I've gotten hints of some of the old skunky flavors coming through on the Gorilla Glue #4 clone...I also seem to recall a strain called "L.A. Confidential" that tasted kind of hashy...but very, very light...I've seen/tasted NOTHING in the way of the old school SE Asian strains....absolutely nothing close. I don't even know if those genetics even still exist IN SE Asia anymore!....but I've yet to see even a hint of them, here! But I can wish! :)

I know they were high testing when I ran them. Not sure if its the high thc or the whole bud but was over the top. I ran her for a year for novelty. always heard first meets say they wanted the strongest available so I kept it in. Was accused of adulterating it with other drugs even, nobody including me tolerated it well. its concentrate was ridiculous. who knows....maybe I'm able to bring out her bests/worsts. I've had others I felt were more potent or stronger but never one that sent me off like that one before or since. It was a ridiculous acidy trip full on with sweats and swirls and nasty ups and downs. got a chill typing this. It remains the perfect example of how thc is a small part of whats going on.

We all love my concentrates and those are in the 80%'s so it isnt about the thc I reckon. still on my top five weirdest must grow/smoke strains.
Durban Poison, Dr. Grinspoon, ECSD, Mazar, Tahoe Og Kush

I hope yours take you to the moon, if thats where you want to go...
wow, it didn't affect me that way. it was a really uplifting, could be racy for some i suppose, and pretty hard hitting at the same time.

I have said his a lot but go with classic old school strains and hybrids with them and the old flavors and smells and quite a bit of the high is in there.

Motarebel and Shantibaba have the genetics we miss.

Ch9 isn't doing anything anymore but used classic older strains only in his work and I get the "lost" smells of n my jars all the time.

Sour, skunk, pinaple, fuel, Lemon, blueberry muffin, chocolate, coffee and they evolve into stronger tastier weed in the jars.

I think a pack of old super skunk would likely have a better plant in there than a new banana strawberry diesel cookies Kush from now legal to cross whatever for beginners genetics inc.

There is a certain skill set necesary to to bring out the “best”, even then, “the best” is subjective. In the hands of a “novice”, there is little difference. Master turning average strains into fire. Once accomplished, finding the “best” becomes not only possible, but a whole lot easier.

Many people misunderstand that even genes are can amount to little more than potential.
You can take 3 clones from a plant, put them under 3 different light types with everything else staying the same. Not only will potency vary but they will have different terpene profiles also.
