Finding seeds a week before harvest

These are last night's pictures. I picked them off with tweezers but during that process I found 2 mature seeds and one other I couldn't even pick out. Do you think I should flush and cut as planned over the next 4 days or cut immediately ?
Let me put an observation out here.

Next run, less N in bloom. That may just solve your herming with this strain. It's doing so by stress. Your N is too high as they are expressing this by being dark green and hooked down leaves. Classic high N being expressed.

You may want to run 2 weeks or a bit longer yet.....They are not bulked up....Still, you flushed, they may not much more. The pistils should be more receded into the swelling calyx's.
You also don't have all cloudy trich's yet. These thing's generally tell me 2+ weeks yet....

They DO look nice otherwise.

So what? Some believe that seeded delivers a different buzz. Some say better! Seeded weed has several more cannabinoids then unseeded!

FLUSH? Final flushing - removes NOTHING from the plant. It is based on an old school idea that is based in logic. While it sounds good by logic. It has zero basis in actual plant biology!
The plant is not capable of having any "nutrient" flushed from it.

The idea of the fade is in reality. Kind of dumb. The bulk of the "stored" nutrition in a plant is mostly in the roots. As that is used up by the plant. It then begins to feed off it's self in a desperate attempt to reproduce. The things you want to remove from the parts of the plant we smoke. Is exactly where this nutrition is being sent. Your reducing nothing.

All your doing is forcing the plant to ripen faster. This reduces the end bulk and potency buy not allowing the plant to mature on it's own, natural, biological process!
The real maturing of terps and THC. Are adversely effected by causing the plant to speed up it's demise..

Spend some time finding out how to dry and cure properly! It'll all be better that way...

This "flushing" horse is so dead......The nutrient companies need to stop beating it.

Those who carry the myth on need to
and get educated....

NOT a personal attack!
Simply information you need to consider for growing to the best potentials of a strain.. There's is so much you loose by flushing and starving a plant for 2 weeks...Fading doesn't work either.

I have asked numerous times of you and 2 others. One of which made up the silly myth.

Where is the proof that seeded weed has more and different canabanoids?

Being so enthusiastic makes me panic a little more too.
I totally understand this! Most do the same thing, when starting out... Patience in growing, is generally a learned practice.

You'll get it! Just be patient and observant. In time, you'll know what the plant is telling you! Learning is not done just by growing. Reading quality books helps.

NOT A MYTH! Leave your thinly veiled insults of people at the door please.

DJ Shorts......The original source - He did the first "research" into the real answer you seek.

Marijuana growers guide by Ed and Mel...Goes over some trains of thought on this..Mostly on weight/yield but, do touch on the subject..Read up...

You have not asked me this question before, at least I don't remember it. Maybe I was too pissed at you to care.

But, you asked now, so there it is.....:peace:

LOL, I posted this in 2016.
The Dr. is my Sensei. Maybe he can tell us both?

I admit I can be! I'm attempting to soften up some.
It's harder then it seems to be but, I'm working on it....

Thank you BB!

RIU is my 1st chat room and I am starting to figure out how to communicate better.
I am just realizing that I chat poorly and need to adjust the way I do it.
When emotional or messing with someone, I will switch from being sarcastic in one paragraph to the person I'm messing with, then in the next paragraph I'll be serious and be speaking to the others, then in the 3rd paragraph I'll be back to messing with the original guy making it difficult for others to read if they don't know where my mind is at.
I'm working on that.

I come from abusive and trolling message boards, so coming to a new board can be an adjustment.
Pleased to meet you dude, anyone that can stick around long enough will fit in fine in General and get to know most others well enough not to give a crap when things do get heated.

:-)

I read your grow journal, get that fan off the plants, far too windy and your leaves look like they need a better environment for transpiration. PPMs are way too high, not to say that you need to go low but i feel you could cut them in half and work up maybe, 1ec is around good for most after they get some roots. Why not just start in either coco or rockwool and run that for the next year till you master it, also i feel you could have just used either the aquaflakes or coco a+b and none of the other additives, possibly this is why your PPM seems really high idk. Anyway goodluck there.

Hey, nice to meet you too, appreciate the kind words.

Keep an eye on that journal. I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying, and I think you’ll see that. I’m very new at this, and I’m ok with sharing my warts and all now.

Thanks for your help.

Hey bro,
I have a question for you... I know you don't like stupid questions but no question is stupid so let's test your patience. Lol. I am on day 2 of hang dry and the outside of the buds feel a little crispy but the steam is not snapping but rather bending. That tells me they aren't ready for jaring yet however I'm concerned about the crispyness ... Should I jar them you think ?

Dr. Who

Well-Known Member
NO!

Stick to the crack and not bend plan!

When you jar, Use Boveda 62% or 58% Humi packs, in the jar. These will hold the RH at exactly the proper levels for perfect curing, and smoking...

When these packs start to feel like they have crystals inside the pack.....You can recharge them by simply putting them in a domed root riot tray, With water in it, and leaving them till they have no more crystals in the pack.
