Yet another reason I love HLG - they don't rest on their laurels. Always something new coming around the corner. Keeping it fresh for the ever-changing market! Rock on, Robin and Stephen. Rock the fuck on...

I think everyone who has discovered the existence of that light has asked that question! That said, it's such an amazing deal for a pre-built that I don't think anyone is upset about it! Well... Maybe some HLG550 buyers? But hey, we all know you pay to play when you early-adopt, right?

I was planning to buy 2 of the 320w kits at $450 each. That's $900 total.
I could just buy the light above for less than $700 for a total of 620w!
However, the 320w kit has 3 qbs, so I would have 6 qbs in my tent.
That new light only has 4 qbs, but the wattage is almost the same?
I'm confused. All this lighting numbers is overwhelming.

What size is your tent? I'm sure you'd be happy with either option, honestly. If it were me, and I had that extra $200 already budgeted, I'd go for the two 320w kits, just for the added versatility of being able to adjust them independently. Also, those two extra boards certainly wouldn't hurt!

Any idea on pricing for the qb96 or lens/diffusers that will work for them? I'm looking for some lights for micro greens I need the lights to be within an inch or 2 of the greens
