ISO - everyone seems to use it, but how safe is it for product you are going to consume internally (i.e. edibles, RSO)?

100% ISO, I did not know such a product existed and thought it was always 99.9% ? I read some shit by a chemist who said the ISO was not safe as it contains processing oils etc although in minute quantities. Anyone got any real info on how safe ISO is for use in edibles? I always use 94% grain alcohol but find it doesn't make the same kind of oil, or maybe that is just my imagination.
we used to worry about that as well..but we bit chunks of hash off in our mouths no issue..not sure if you see my point here but the hash was not good to put in your mouth..not sure what we were thinking.
Truth was the oil we made was more pure and safer ..but we were to stupid to realize cause we liked smoking hash all day 24/7 365...
YOu get more shit (cleaners)off of the table in MacDonald's than you do from what you make at home..trust me on that one..as long as instruction's are followed of course.

I shook off buying a press in Oct thinking of the money saving but I really hate mixing and cooking this shit.
I do it by the 1/2 p .
So the rice cooker is full ( ScAry ) but way to much product to go through so I don’t cook by the Oz.
I usually come out with 25-30 grams per 1/2 each run.
Plus way to cold to cook and I only do it outside.
Man that rosin press sounds real good right about now.
Knock2 birds with 1 stone.
Healthier and I can vap instead of smoking paper.
makin oil in the winter s the best time..
no need for it now its pressing times!
The leftover squished bags can be soaked a bit (once frozen;)
and after a half p of already squished bags have been washed. You can get out the last 5% in oil form with a wash.

...When I saw the skids at Costco and the price? loI was like..the guy who sells this shit KNOWS...hahahaha I told Marc Emery at CC the day Hippy and I were there and he's like really?
Sure you can buy it cheaper but ...the last time I bought 5 gallons..it was not medical and they had scented it..fukin waste of cash..good thing it was cheap but a waste.. Gotta buy medical grade and nothing else.

The new and improved Liquid Gold is now here, and we guarantee you have never vaped anything this good! This improved product is made with pure THC Distillate and infused natural terpenes. This product contains zero propylene glycol. The extractors use a proprietary method to remove all terpenes and other cannabinoids. No more rolling, and super discreet; all you need is a 510 thread vaporizer battery! Excellent for the holiday season, it has never been so easy to medicate in public (read, holiday dinners). Each pre-filled tank contains 0.5ml of liquid gold (a form of THC distillate with infused natural terpenes), and usually ranges in the 80-90 percentile. LEARN MORE.."

It's actually a friends. I think he paid around $1000-1500. He does a lot of squishing and he said he just used a https://sasquashpress.com for the first time and said his press doesn't even compar, so now wants to upgrade. I've always thought his does a pretty decent job if you ask me haha.
1000-1500 makes sense and probably does a way better job then the 400-600 dollar presses but not as good as at a 2500 press.
Man they range in price to much.
I’m going to lowball one of the 400 dollar presses for say 200 if possible and see what it does but definitely won’t pay full price on cheap equipment.

I think the shitty thing about the cheeper press is the plate quality. Cheeper plates will have hot spots and bad, uneven heat distribution. A few degrees difference in temp can have drastic difference in yeild, terps, even the consistency of the Rosin.
