Big Game Hunters, Show Your Stuff

Opening Day of bow season I had a 10 pointer 18-20 wide 20-22 tall within 15 yards of me and could not get a shot off. Sumbitch came up from behind me, I knew he was coming, stopped right behind a big as limb, turned and I that was that. This year has been disappointing as far as the size of the bucks go where I hunt. Last year was phenomenal.

Yesterday we stopped by another field I have permission to hunt. There was the biggest fucking bear track I have ever seen!!!! This mfr was as big as a 4 X 8 sheet of plywood. And I have seen 750+ pounds bear before.

Brown bear in the neighborhood for the last 5 days or so.
Chunky 3-4 year old.
Our berry crop was non existent this year due to a late spring freeze that killed the adult bushes.

I'm sure we'll have some winter bears this year so the .375 & the 12 guage are on "close" duty for several months now.

Hey GW!
What dose a cape like that weigh?

I'll grab your gun, you carry the cape...:bigjoint:
That hide weighed in the area of 250-300 lbs, we fortunately had a plastic sled that we were able to tie it down to & drag it out. It still took us like 5 hours to get it off of the mountain by headlamp (2000' decent). There were three of us doing this & we kept getting hung up in the alder (that stuff is a bitch if you've never met it) - that triple Gin & Tonic at the end of the slog was well deserved!

A buddy and I hit a black bear years ago in northern MN doing about 70 on a back road. the bear was a 250-300lb'r absolutely destroyed his 3 day old powerstroke:mrgreen:.

I've been feeding the White-tails that wonder in my front yard with Dollar-Tree-Cheerios. Now I feel bad, because my neighbor has been like, "What the fuck are all these pest-cunts doing wandering around my property?!" --

and I'm like...."I have no idea, it's crazy right?! Those shitfucks just tried to eat some of my flowers the other day, too. Let's kill'em all!" just to fit in..

I'm so conflicted.
