CBD Therapy grow

Edibles are easy enough to make. I like making cookies from dry sift kief. Just add a measured amount to your cookie dough and bake as usual. Make them as strong or weak as you want. I like to make it two gets me really baked and I can just have one if I just feel the need to ease the aches without messing up my day. I get into weighing each ball of dough before baking so each dose is consistent and somewhere have written down the amount of kief used in each batch so I can replicate prior results.

I'm loving the cocobudder for the whole plant aspect of it rather than just the resin glands. Even from the same strain the buzz is a lot different and gives me better, longer lasting relief than the cookies. The cocobudder is really easy to make and not messy at all compared to making cannabudder with water added.

My favorite way to ingest is just coffee mixed with cocobudder in a blender. Makes a frothy almost late type drink and it is very simple gets me my morning joe and a couple hours later my stone.
That sounds delicious man! I haven't had coffee in over three years. It's cold here today, I could go for a nice hot chocolate with some of that cocobudder.

I think I will grow out these therapy seeds and use a whole lot of it for cocobudder. Does anyone know how effective cbd uptake is from edibles? I'm guessing its a lot higher than smoking and even vaping

Much more effective for me than smoking it S&S. Toking the Sweet Skunk CBD helped for a couple hours but eating some of it in coconut oil lasts for almost 24 hours. I sure hope I get the same kind of medication from the ones I'm growing tho they are almost all CBD with 1% THC but I plan to mix it with regular pot of different strains to mimic the effect of the SS.

Hello, if anyone is still following this thread, I have grown out seeds that I got from the first grow and they are basically identical to the first two plants. Today is day 51 flower. 1 is still growing (I've also impregnated her with some white widow) but the other one is fattening up without any new growth. This strain's hairs go brown early on. Even the one that has lots of new growth has all dark hairs on the rest of her buds. New buds of course are white. The other plant though has like 100% dark hairs and I've been wondering if maybe she's done already. I took a microscope and saw that most trichs are cloudy, not much amber going on though.

No problems what so ever this time around. Smooth as butter.

Found it strange on the first grow how she seeded up, thought maybe i had some hermie pollen or someting in there, but these plants are so very much like the first two seeds I got from CBD crew that it's nuts. I've been checking them lots and no bananas or anything like that. This strain stays green even with very little feeding and is always the least hungry out of any strain in the tent. Very skunky from a small size, the first ones to start smelling. Buds smell very sweet when growing, though they don't really give an impressive yield. Buds aren't very compact but not loose either. I also only have a 400 hps so you never know what it would be like under a 600 or something, or outside. Can post pics if anyone is interested.

Sounds like she's done. I've waited weeks longer for amber than I wanted too and never got it so take them when they are mostly cloudy and the hairs have all died.

I do all my growing under 400s and like what I get.

I would find a good probiotics (garden of life is great) also take digestive enzymes with every meal. I would take a good fish oil, turmeric is great for inflamation too. Inner filet of aloe Vera can be good. I would also try to get sun all over your body vitamin D Is great for you. If I were you I would also blend lots of different organic fruits and veggies together everyday and drink that.

Hey thanks for the response and ideas. I tried probiotics for a while but i didn't notice a difference. digestive enzymes, I'll have to check into that. what does the fish oil do? I was using aloe vera, inner fillet gel and juice for a while but it didn't help. I used it for several months. I get really sick when i eat most veggies/fruits. Even something alkaline like cucumbers or melon. I do eat about 6 bananas a day though.

Fish oil just helps with inflamation too, probiotics and all the raw foods will actually make ur stomach seem worse until you get use to it. I had diahreha for 5 years straight from antibiotics. I personally don't eat dairy, wheat or soy and have noticed a huge benifit

Hey as others have said it seems like it's good for sleeping and for some reason it doesn't make me cough or isn't as acidic as the stuff with thc. I could see health conscious people smoking this to go to sleep. It doesn't make you hungry or say as alert as someone who's drank herbal tea.
As a schizophrenic I couldn't even understand how much I smoked because it taste and feels like humid air...

Do you use any other strains? I find I can't smoke any high thc strains at all. I miss weed so much, it breaks my heart. Just harvested one plant, will post an update in a sec here...

DAY 53 FLOWER

7 weeks and 3 days flowering

So today I was checking the plants, getting ready to feed the one, and I found a few bananas. So I chopped her down right then and there. The other plant (after very careful inspection) didn't have a single banana. Both plants have had about 90% of the hairs brown and dark for over a week now, maybe two. The one that hermied though had lots of new growth still but seemed to be slowed down a lot these past few days. the one that hermied is also the one that i had seeded. I collected 340 or so seeds off of her lower buds this morning. The higher and bigger buds were all seed free, but 2 or 3 spots had 1 or 2 bananas. none were opened up and all were in the emerging stage. Her leaves were starting to go yellow, and she does look close to done to my eye, but maybe someone with more experience can help me. I will upload the pics.

The non hermied plant had its hairs brown for quite a while now, and there is no new growth happening, but i have seen fattening of the buds. She is still very green, and no bananas. I will let her go a week more at least while i flush her. She was also a lot more trichomed than the other one. Very snowy. added a bud pic from her as well.

Both plants had upward curled leaves around the buds, especially at the top.

anyone give me some insight here? thanks

heat stress causes them to hermie a bit

but if you keep watering them and making sure they're below 80f usually they should be good

for someone with psychotic disorders i think the sweet spot is 3% thc 10%+ cbd, if you just want to use it to eat or something... I've gotten away with using 7% but it takes it's toll on you if you smoke everyday for several months.

For sleep don't use thc though. (da-da-duh!)

If I was allowed to I'd grow 2 cbd plants and one high thc plant (in the 15-20% range)
Grind up like .3 of the cbd and toss in a tiny bit of thc while I work outside

Nice journey thread! I grew DinaMed CBD and love it.
Easy to grow and THC/CBD Ratio 1:25.
Pretty much the same ratio as my Otto#1. Got some nice strains there but like usual they are all fem seeds and I'll be damned if I buy from companies that don't offer regular seeds of the same strains.

I like to chuck pollen then share the seeds. Never ask a dime for them either. Just pay it forward. Getting low on most now so need to run a few strains just for fresh seeds.

Maybe you should book a CAT scan. I've had lower gut problems for about 5 years and none of the doctors I've seen saw fit to get me a scan. I went gluten free for a couple months, no improvement. Lactose free for about the last 6 months, nada. About 2 weeks ago it came to a crisis bad enough we called an ambulance as we were snowed in and couldn't get out of the driveway at our acreage. Idiot doc told me I was constipated and gave me some laxative to drink and booked me in. An hour later the nurse comes in with IV antibiotics and an hour after that proved I wasn't constipated about 4 times an hour for the next 36 hours when they shipped me down to a hospital with the latest and greatest CAT scanner on the market. On the way back to the first hospital the medic who was transporting me in a van was radioed and told to divert to another hospital 2 hours away and something about appendix. His tewo way was breaking up so he called base on his phone and was told my appendix was badly inflamed. By 10 that night I woke up in recovery and spent the next 4 days on those damned antibiotics shitting myself dry.

Doc says he figures my appendix tried to blow about 5 years ago when my gut problems started but blew a small hole near its base and had been leaking into my gut ever since. Caused a 1x4cm abscess to grow on my bowel next to the appendix and if it ripped when he lanced it so it could drain I might have had to have a partial colonectomy and lose half of my colon and about 8" of intestine. Some scary shit. Operation went perfect so none of that and now I can eat dairy all I want and the fatigue is lifting tho I'm still very weak. Lost 10 lbs in the hospital off my already slim frame. When I left I was 129.5lbs and I'm 5'8". He said the profound fatigue I have was caused by my body always fighting the constant infection in my belly and how I never got peritonitis was a mystery to him and I must have a real strong immune system. I don't eat junk and take supplements like zinc, D3 and a host of others.

Two days after getting home last week got a horrible pain in my left kidney area that had me rolling around and howling my head off. called another ambulance and before it got to the hospital the pain levels went way up and then ebbed to nothing in a few min.. My first experience with a 4mm kidney stone that was noted on my scan but nobody told me or I would have toughed it out at home for another 20 min.

That same idiot doctor prescribed me NSAIDs for pain as the Demerol I requested might make me constipated. Had he looked in my file it is noted that I cannot tolerate them. Also gave me some prostate drug that also helps pass kidney stones. Stone was gone so WTF! It's main side effect is extreme hypo-tension which is ver low blood pressure. I already have hypo-tension that causes "nap attacks" or dizzy spells and he should have known that as well. Trying to kill me I swear! :)

Still have your appendix? Mine was fine for all my life but finally turned on me. Pretty rare issue but I'm living proof it can happen.

Weird coincidence. I just had my gallbladder out this past Saturday. Had horrible pain a few days in a row and finally went in. Feel much better now. I'm thinking this was the route of all my problems. We will see I guess. I'm still limiting my diet right now as my body needs time to adjust after the surgery. I hope you feel better man!
