Can this be done with a HLG-600H-54A driver?

I bought 2 QB288 at Amazon last week and I bought another 2 this week. I don’t know if they are from the same batch because they shipped from different amazon warehouses. I’m worried about connecting in parallel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
That driver does not output enough voltage to run the QB 304 boards. You'll need to get one of the CC drivers.

If you have the 288's, which are ~54V boards, then that power supply will work, but you would have to run them all parallel, no series. The lower voltage boards will pull more current.

The problem is that in order to run them in parallel, they need to all come from the same batch and these aren’t so I was looking for a solution. Thanks.

Disregard, HLG says they are all from the same bin.

I just ordered 4 x QB288 and am wondering about drivers too. I ordered 2 x HLG-320H-C2100B, but then noticed there is the HLG-600H-54A and am thinking of changing my order if it's worthwhile to do so. Any advantages to either?

HLG-480H-C2100 would work (~450W to the boards). If you want to push them at max power (600W) with a single supply, then the HLG-600H-54 is really the only one that will do it. A 0.7 vf difference will mean one pair of boards will run hotter than the other. Hard to say how much of a difference without looking at the spec sheet. If it was me I would pair them up on separate 300W drivers.

I'd run the 320H-C2100 drivers. You could run up to three boards in series on each driver

So that would mean i could have 6 x QB288 boards on the 2 drivers? What advantage would that have over 4 x QB288 on the same 2 drivers? Sorry I'm a bit new to this and trying to figure things out. I have 4 boards and 2 drivers ordered, but could order another 2 boards if it would be a worthwhile investment. I'll be running this in a 4x4 tent btw.

Running more boards at a lower power per board is more efficient - you would get more total light for the same wattage.

For those of you that have been running QB's for a bit how noticeable is the heat control and the power savings? I'm 80% sure I am gonna make the leap to some QB288's since the DIY tutorials are pretty simple to follow.

That depends on the situation. Like what your running wattage wise compared to what you will be running.
For me its a big difference but I used to run 3x 600w HPS in an 8x4 (1800w plus ballasts wattage) Now I run around 720w of cob and 570w at the wall of quantum boards in the same space. (1290w total) so the power saving is considerable, I couldn't tell you the exact temp difference because I use a variable 5 speed controller on my extraction, I only run my fans on number 1 in winter and 2 in summer unless its really hot outside then I go to 3. With the HPS I used to have to run on 5 in a heatwave and 3 or 4 the rest of the year. Less watts for the same or more light is always going to be cooler and cheaper to run.
Roughly speaking its a 3rd cheaper and a 3rd cooler for me and I pull more weight than I used to, one of the reasons been the lights, but not the sole reason. :bigjoint:

6 are not needed, , its just you have some room on the driver if you needed/wanted to expand

I'm running this same setup. 2x 288's on one 320H. I'm actually running the 54b driver. I honestly don't know the difference. I'm running them full power without issue. Will dim them once I get a potentiometer. I'm running 4 boards in a 5x5 tent coverage seems good so far. The deal with not being able to add more boards later when wiring in parallel is kinda a bummer, especially since my drivers are built to wire in parallel. Would cost me another 80$ in drivers just to add 2 more boards. So make sure you are totally happy with your purchase before buying.

More tinkering in the " infinity " room ....

Well , the " infinity " is that CORNER desktop grow area I fabbed up awhile back.
Corner area was covered in Mylar with bounce walls painted semi gloss white.
Open area style grow -

Added a 4000k QB 304 .... Finished remote driver mounts for HLG drivers .
There is ceiling hooks for another QB 304 that will also hang next to 4000k.
I completed the detachable power cable and just need to push into molex on board tomorrow... Since it was lights out again for the last two girls . Again work cut me short on garden time .... Lol

160 (180) watt QB 304 3000k/4000k boards

Sup folks.
About to start my first run under my new QB. It's the 135w 288 kit from HLG. I'm going to be running one plant under it in a small space (about 2x2x5) from start to finish.
Wondering what wattage people have had success dimming it to for seedling stage as well as what height to run it at. I've got a good idea on height above the canopy once the plant is mature, but I'd like to avoid having to deal with my t5s for this and I know qb will dim down fairly low.
So like I said, any tips on this, or any other aspects of growing with these boards is greatly appreciated.
