With Democrats like these who needs Republicans?

That's pretty easily demonstrably false. Every piece of objective evidence, even today, says Sanders is the most popular politician in the country, every piece of objective evidence says Sanders is the frontrunner in 2020

You're the one denying reality

And he's already assembling a team to run again in 2020. So knowing his record, what he stands for and what he says and supports; universal healthcare, universal college, a living wage, a new new deal, an end to the 8 current US conflicts abroad, etc., who aside from him do you see as leading the Democratic field in 2020?
Sanders was more popular in opinion polls in 2016 and he lost by a whopping large margin. The only poll that means anything is an election poll.

This is where you claim rigged. Before you delve into old false conspiracy myths about the DNC, I'll remind you that Clinton funded Bernie's access to DNC databases enabling Bernie to leach off the DNC and hack into her campaigns private files.

There are plenty of good candidates surfacing. Harris, Gillibrand, Booker, Sherrod Brown. If you are happy about electing a man who will be an octogenarian by the end of his term then I'd prefer Jerry Brown to Bernie. Brown has gotten a shit ton more done than Bernie.

We already know who is likely to run in 2020. Booker, Gillibrand, Harris, etc. So who do each of you believe is a better option than Sanders? Why do you believe they're a better option than Sanders?

I think Sanders is the best option because his platform addresses the issues I believe are the most important; money in politics, income and wealth inequality, universal healthcare. None of the other candidates have shown leadership positions on any of those issues.

Bernie wants you to STFU. You are an embarrassment to him and his message.

You oppose Sanders because people on an internet forum you oppose support him...

Let that sink in..

You don't oppose him for his policy positions. You oppose him because people you don't like support him...

That's 8% of Democrats.. 80% of Democrats support Sanders.

Lots of Democrats "like" Sanders, less than 40% of them voted for him.

Let that sink in for a sec.

I'm surprised to see you here, given you declared this section dead months ago.

Try and let this sink in.

You know that Harvard Harris CAPS polling you been using to lie about Bernie's popularity since August? They just released another poll. This one looked at who people support for the 2020 Democratic nomination for President.

The top democratic choice for next president is Joe Biden, with 27% support among Democrat voters. He is followed by Bernie Sanders at 16%, and Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey at 13% each. Elizabeth Warren is at 10% support.

These polls don't mean what you think they do

No.. Bernie has never passed anything and will be old as hell in 2020. Will his VP be his nurse?

bernie who?
Isn't Bernie Sanders that guy who says that white people don't know what it's like to be poor in order to show black people he understands their issues

Approval isn't the same as support. This was demonstrated to you in 2016 when Bernie lost to Clinton by a whopping large margin.

Sanders is good but he's not great on issues that affect people who are not white or male. I'd put everybody that I named except Sherrod Brown ahead of Bernie and feel no need to narrow my choices down until the debates in 2019. Other candidates will emerge and I might decide to go with them instead.

You should be comforted that I'm not inclined to back Bernie in the primaries because I have a long history of backing losers in the primary.
