Viparspectra, meizhi, mars grams per watt?

Can anyone who has used any of these brands let me know what light model and how much you yielded? Wanting to know what's the best/worst case scenario for these brands

My 1st attempt with a 300w vipar gave me 48g dry between an auto berry bomb on 12/12 and a gorilla bomb photo next to it, not ideal but ive had a second attempt with another gorilla bomb and this is how shes looking so far.. ive added a big cfl bulb for some supplemental as well this time round

I've grown with Vipar and the quality was lacking. They gave me poor yields and weak plants. The other companies you mentioned are as bad, or worse, than Vipar.
You should be investing in some COB, or Quantum Board based LED lights, not blurple lights featuring decade old tech. Just look around, they are plenty of pre-made (COB or QB) lighting setups that could nearly double your yield while your electric bill stays the same.

I used Vipars. 2x V450s. The buds were NOT tight, and it yielded maybe 2 ounces for 412w total (206w each.). One 89w COB vastly outperformed 2 ViparSpectra V450s. Avoid Chinese panels. Save your money and get COBs, QBs, or EB/F strips instead.

I got just under 3 zips in 3 gallon coco with a mars I think 300 watts but that's just what manufacturer stated

The vipars will produce good hard solid nugs, if the grower has experience with these lights. But in no way do they compare to Quantum Boards or cobs. Get a 250 watt quantum kit and it will produce the goods.
With 2 x 250watt kits I pull around 16oz when used in the 1.2x1.2 tent. I have since downsized and built a new flower cab just under 5ftx2.5ft, I scrog and never need to use more than 400 watts in there and still pull around the 16oz mark.

Yea, I agree that they are amazing! But its not then that I asked about haha

Mars 300 does the job next to my hps. I yield at least 2 zips per.

Im hoping to get 2 zips from the vipar 300w alone lol

If you are fully aware of what COB and QB can do, I guess my question is why are you even asking about bottom of the barrel Chinese panels? Not trying to be a jerk. Just honestly curious.

My micro tent (35x35x60cm) produces 60 - 70 grams with one plant and 80w of supermarket LEDs. Nothing spectacular, but I can't fit any more plant material in the tent.

100w of LED should produce 100 grams of bud if you're not struggling with space.

This is totally achievable. What size space are you growing in again?

While the quality of lighting is important.
You can not compare equal watts delivered to yield gained.....
The yield is far more dependent on grower ability and method used... Then any type of lighting of equal intensity delivered by that light.

Simple rules of LED.
NO "blurple" units.
Pass the "over hyped" banks. Many of their claims are BS. Example: Many say they deliver UV. Yup, they do BUT, not the kind we want!

LED? Go COB or go home! Best damn thing in a tent or small walled space..

HID still rules the roost in commercial ops running full size or tall plants.....

Want to go COB but it's to costly? Get a complete HID set up for your area, cheap on ebay....
Run and save till you can afford the COB's of your choice!
KEEP the HID set-up as a back up. You may expand one day and simply repeat the process.
Or sell it and get a good chunk of your money back..

Again guys I appreciate you're advice but I have done sooooo much research, I WILL BE GOING TO QUANTUM BOARDS
But for now this post was curiosity as to what people have actually pulled off with the cheap set ups

Simply because that's what I have, with no cash to upgrade just now, will maybe have to sell some of this girl to fund better lights

I agree with your long term decision to save up for a QB or a COB. I speak from experience here. I ran a CLW Solar Storm 440 blurple in one of my tents for a few years and I'll fully admit that it far exceeded what most people think a blurple can do. Last time I used it I pulled over half a pound of dried buds off of 1 plant in rDWC in 3x3 tent. That being said, by QB is wayyyyyy better. More efficient, runs cooler, better spectrum, just better. So be heartened by the fact that your goals in regards to yeild are attainable with what you have and be happy that you have a superior light to look forward to in your future. Happy growing!
