Let it grow. Fill you cups more, lower your light. Looking a little stretchy. Nothing drastic, just find that sweet spot where they dont reach too far. If you decide to start it over. Save that plant and learn things from it. It will recover. It will take you longer to resprout then let it work itself out. Cheers on your grow

Its hard to say an exact height. I dont know your lights. Your plants are small so I wouldnt just dump them down. Lower a little and check it periodically each light cycle would be my advice. You can use the back of your hand, but if you have 18 dollars id buy an infrared thermometer. Its more accurate than the one on your hygrometer, and its instant temp of the actual foliage.

Where would i get the infrared light home depot lowes or order online? Cause im just using a cfl for them i might take them outside in may when there's at least 14 hours of daylight in the central valley

Infrared thermometer? Not a light. You can order it online. Its not essential, but it is nice to have. For things like finding the heat load on a baby plant.
