4 plants no true leaves yet but last night a added a very small amount of root 66 to help with the root growth (7ml to 3 gal) and I. the middle of the night the room smelled like a full grown plant was in there!
Is this normal? I mean the plants are only a week into growth after popping there heads out the soil.

I've got an Urkle cross in veg right now that gives off waves of super berry odor if you brush up against her. I've had plants in full flower that didn't give off as much smell as this girl. Going to be a rough couple month for my carbon filter.

All that being said, by 'no true leaves' do you mean that they still only have the cotyledons? If that is the case I have trouble imaging how they would smell like much of anything that young.

The stinkiest vegging plants here often are males
I can guess which ones will be male and female by rubbing them and smelling. Males usually have a musty smell while my females have more of a sweet smell then I mark them and wait til they show. But I’ve guessed right most of the time. I had a few that screwed with me and those turned out to hermie on me at some point in the grow.

After doing so many grows I’ve gotten good at not 100% of course but generally I have it right. Gives me time to clone the ladies I figure are ladies and have them ready when I confirm the males toss them and stick in the clones of my girls.
