How much can a 800 sq. ft greenhouse produce?

10lbs a month? You need maybe 150 square feet for your flower room, but you have much to learn, young padawan.

Start with one square meter, like a 4'x4' tent and grow in stuff that size until you can get a pound out of it every time, then move on. You can produce a pound every month from a spare bedroom, with multiple stages running. Much to learn, lurk more.

Fucking lol, poor Colorado

Dude, you don't even know enough to know what questions to be asking right now. Not insulting you, it's the simple truth of how people acquire new skills. Don't look that far ahead, grow plants first, like 1-4 at a time. Grow some tomatoes or peppers or lemons or anything that loves light indoors for practice. Incremental improvement, kaizen, hai.
Thank you for your advice jedi master :blsmoke:

Please dont come to colorado with a half baked (pun fully intended) dream, our traffic is shit already. Its not the wild west, yes its legal but you cant be running hundreds of plants at once unless you have a commercial license. 6 plants is all you can have as a home grower (total of 12 for 2+ adults in the same home) 3 in veg and 3 in flower.

So to run hundreds like you want, you need to establish Colorado residency, apply for a MED Key badge, form an LLC to run your company under, file applications with the state to get the proper licenses, find a building or land, establish your infrastructure, buy all the equipment needed, buy your genetics, start your grow, pray nothing goes wrong, harvest, dry , cure, market all these pounds your expecting. Now that means opening your own dispensary and good luck unless your a few more million to spend after your initial start up costs, or selling illegally and eventually having your leather cheerio prolapsed.

So I say again PLEASE DO NOT COME TO COLORADO! California and Nevada are rec legal too. Plus they got better weather.
Is the weather that much worse then Nevada/California?!

Hi guys I had a couple questions. Right now I currently live in Florida which has extremely strict laws when it comes to marijuana cultivation. I've been wanting to grow for awhile now and it has always been fun educating myself and reading about it so I thought I'd actually pursue it by moving to Colorado where the laws are more lenient. What I'm picturing right now is a mid-size greenhouse and was wondering what kind of numbers I can pull from lets say 800 sq. ft of space? The goal is to have a setup that can produce around 10 lb's a month(not exactly sure what I need for this so any input would be greatly appreciated). I figured I'd start with something more manageable. Thanks!
Lol. Wrong time to get into the weed game. You're a few years too late. Markets are flooded with weed in all legal states. Many people are still sitting on harvest from 1 - 2 years ago. If you're coming in thinking you're going to make millions, you're wrong. Not anymore anyways.

People don’t realize what it takes to do it successfully it takes years to learn first of all even if u have a professional grower teaching you then once u learn enough u could think about starting something small 4 lights maybe and even that will cost u thousands of dollars for location and equipment etc etc then wait 3.5 months to hopefully get good product and good yields then find the people willing to hand u thousands and thousands of dollars for it.. good luck.. and if ur trying to grow all year round outdoors in Colorado good luck I’ve had friends go there set up n crash n burn

Seriously or Nevada!

Nevada may have *some* good weather but thats it. it windy as fuck, beyond dry and the summer is a constant battle for your plants in the tripple digit heat... Although iv found that full blown indicas from the middle east area run really well out here but thats about it. Plus u cant grow within a 25 mile radius of a dispencery (personal gorws) and cant have more than 12 plants. If you want to TRY and get in the legal business then good luck cuz its flooded here and the majority of the small towns in Nevada DO NOT want anything to do with weed... its a bitch of a legal state with a bunch of whiteknight cowboys lol

OP Grow and handful of plants and see how you like it. I have been doing this for fun for years. I the made almost $0 money off it. I barely break even.

The money is in renting out or leasing property to licensed to grow ops. You make a nice 10% cut and never get you hands dirty.

I am trying my hand at cannabis grow consulting. Maybe get I will get into the real estate game some day. But until then, it's a fun hobby that keeps me from having to pay some strange character for some pot with a possible gang activity associated with it.
