Lockouts and deficiency looks the same.
Phosphorus is always very available.
He's been feeding a lot.
What do you think his chances of a deficiency is right now in promix?
Yes phosphorus is red stem. How often do you get phosphorus deficient? Honestly?
Its lockout. Not deficiency.
IMHO

You just said purple stems are mag above. Thank you for helping make my point. There is a link to plenty of books above also. I like ed Rosenthals Grow book and Clark’s Marijuana Botany best.

Lol. I believe he believes he answered the question.
I know you know your stuff medgrower. But your answers are almost always terrible to some people. I think I know why. I believe you worked hard to get where you are experience wise and you wont make it easy for any of the new people by just telling them the right answer. It's like you want to be a father figure and make them work for it like you did. The problem with that is people think you are being mean to them and they don't get it. Sometimes it's better off to just not answer. They wont understand why.

You don’t seem to understand the problem. Typical multiple posts with every already answered 100x question. No info or even pics of the whole plant.

I said look to phosphorous. You don’t see deficiencies until they are already advanced so there are no quick answers. Only the quest to see what the plants are telling us will help. And then trial and error.

If you look to any of the search results I posted they will all point to overwatering or environment. Or simple need for nutrients.

Instead of that conversation happening where we might have all learned about gardening someone who knows all the answers chimes in with the standard “looks like mag”. At least he didn’t say cal mag. Lol. But he did start with the ph silliness.

That is why I push the basics. Just like the breeder who helped me in the beginning. First by being very blunt about rudiments and later really taking an interest as I showed understanding.

Every grow and room is different. We can’t see what’s wrong from here with a little blurb and a close up.

I have always been very blunt and straightforward. Online it comes out even stronger. But everyone knows. You need a thick skin to hang out at RIU.

If you want to be babied and have people mis diagnose your grow I suggest THC farmer.

You have to learn this shit for yourself and manage your own garden or you are just pouring shit into pots.

I'm not sure what is causing your purple stems it might just be that the mature fan leaf stems turn that colour for your strain and it moves from bottom up because the bottom leaves are more mature but there are many factors but I don't think you should worry about it, maybe just check your Temps and ph if you feel your plant is growing too slowly, I saw someone asked if it's true that you shouldn't give seedlings nutes and yes it is true, if your plant still has cotyledons it doesn't need nutes, since the cotyledons store all the nutes the plant needs while the plant is building up its roots, think of it like your plant is a baby and the cotyledons is the umbellical chord, the baby can only eat once it's cut.

That's not true. Your plants can benefit from a very mild nutrient solution from the start. If it be in soil it's residual from the medium or from a light feed in dwc.
I frequently keep cotyledons on a plant through a complete grow cycle. Should you give a seedling water at 1100 ppm? No. But generally speaking I feed at 200 to 400 ppm in dwc for the first two weeks. Once roots hit the water I work it up from there.
Basically if your plants are yellowing then dropping leaves, cotyledons included, it is not getting the nutrients it needs from you and has started to cannibalize itself. Losing some foliage isn't really an issue but why underfeed on purpose?

Purple stems can be genetic but also can be from phosphorus deficiency.

You should do some reading. These are very basic questions you keep asking.

https://www.google.com/search?q=purple+cannabis+stems&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari

If you have not read a Grow book here is a ton of free pdf books.

Being an instructor my job is to answer questions as best I can if I can or I’d be out of a job lol. Yes there is a time to suggest reading but I supplement that with my knowledge. You guys are all just cranky lol. I thinks it’s Trump, he’s having a profound effect on you guys lol. Making you all perpetually pissed off lol. Might I suggest “sunny ways”, that’s our new motto up here, and keep your hair nice and styled as well lol.

I told his ass to skip over my shit but he takes this way too serious. He's just a punk. The world is full of them and he's one of them. He must have a lot to be crabby about in life. People who lead good happy worry free lives are usually nice to others. People who hate their life are usually mean to others. It's as simple as that. It Makes him feel better to be cruel almost as if it gives him a sense of fulfillment.

Everything is not trump. And I explained my mood and reasoning a few posts later.
