Did something happen at a previous booth that has some calling for security?

And why not a neutral security force?

It's the same reason they want to ask about citizenship on the census. It intimidates people and forces them out of the system.

Lots of citizens don't trust law enforcement. Having the Secret Police checking papers, and running criminal checks, will scare a lot of eligible voters away. That's the point of it.

Voter suppression. Disenfranchisement.

They will give the typical bs as an excuse. You can write it yourself. You don't need to ask them. They are predictable in which lies they will use.

That is why I asked if something had happened that has people calling for security at voting booths.

Why not answer a question directly instead of just trying to start shit?
what was the username of your previous account before you got banned?

I thought voting in federal elections was a "states rights" issue. The money would be better spent guarding the computers, network and voting infrastructure. Armed guards won't help with russians stealing yer votes or stuffing ballots through hacked systems, or filling yer head full of bullshit online through facebook. The russians are still at it and Trump has done nothing but help them. Cambridge Anal seems to be out of the game however and Zuckerberg is scared now, so maybe the impact in 2018 will be blunted.

Nothing like intimidating voters with weapons at the polls to promote that feeling of democracy and choosing your own government, eh?

You aren't against using weapons to get your way though. How do you think any politicians plans come to fruition ?

Do they ask you if you're interested in their idea or do they make ANOTHER new law regardless, which you must follow or weapons will come into play?

Voting is deciding who gets to hold the gun, that's all it is.

They want all these new laws getting rid of guns, and they are going to send the cops (that they spit on otherwise) with guns to get these guns.

Derrrrrrrrrrrrr
