I weary of this post. Lol
My advice.
Tell us how much money you are willing to spend. (budget)

What space do you have available

Tons of people here will be able to help but you have to supply the info

Buy quality soil, fox farms, something that says premium potting mix that isnt in a small bag, and nothing sold at walmart. You can possibly pull a oz or 2 from the window but its not likely without some supplimental light unless the window really gives a lot of direct sunlight you can build a dark area from a rubbermade trashcan and a blanket over it so you can flower it in the middle of summer and get the best results from the more intense summer lighting.

I'd say lst and 150w of cfls should do a plant no prob, maybe like 4 lights surrounding the plant cuz cfls only have a few inches of useful light, past that use some gentle wire or something to tie branches down. don't use string or anything that'll cut into it, careful not to break stems just pull it to the side so it grows wider and more branches get light access. Light stress training would be after it gets a good bit bigger, nutes, you'll probably need some but that's a whole new boat. Preemptive strike, yes you will need nutes cuz after x amount of time the plant will use all that is available then you'll start wondering why it's getting yellow. General guideline is I think maybe .25g per watt for cfls, not sure if it's .5g but it's definitely .5g for hid lighting, because light=yield. So even if everything was perfect, light would be your limiting factor, the bottleneck.
