Dearest Useful Fam,
It’s with an extraordinarily heavy heart that I bring to you the worst possible news, today.
Last month, Uncle Useful passed away. His passing was unexpected so the devastation is immeasurable.
For those that knew him personally, you know how loving and giving he was. Over the last decade, I watched him “be there” for his family and friends more than most will in a lifetime. Every holiday season, he bought tons of food for charity and he was NOT a wealthy man.
I could go on and on about his sacrifices and giving nature. He was such a kind, big-hearted soul. Such a humble man… The only language he spoke was love. Through the years, we heard Useful say on many occasions “Say it now because ya never know.” Even his company slogan encompassed love, “Useful Seeds Spread The Love.”
If there’s one thing I know about our beloved Useful, it’s that he wanted everyone to get along and love each other; he hated tension or discord and always sought love and peace. With this understanding, I encourage everyone reading this to take a moment and reach out to your loved ones. Bury the hatchet. Tell them you love them. Forgive anyone you haven’t despite right or wrong. If you can’t do this for yourself, do it in honor of Useful and Spread The Love like he did. Really. I can’t think of a better way to honor him.
So much love to everyone and again, I’m sorry for the bad news but I know Useful would want this crowd to read it here first. My inbox is open, if anyone needs to talk…
We love you, Uncle Useful.
