I don't like rapid rooters only because if they dry out you're screwed. It's hard to rehydrate them. Rock wool cubes work great and I use 5.5 ph'd water for the cubes and Clonex gel or hormex rooting powder and as for after they root just give them 1/4 strengh nutes.
