So I've had several pH pens, a cheepy eBay one and a checker by Hanna. I find that I am having to constantly calibrate them. I got tired of it so I find myself using the drops. Can anyone recommend a good unit that I won't have to calibrate every day?

I see these splitters on ebay for around $65. They are supposed to be able to run two 600w hps bulbs off of one 1000w magnetic ballast. Does anyone know how these things are wired? it seems i could make my own, but i dont know if i should hook them in parallel or series.
