ok i got an area 2x3 i currently use to grow 4 small plants with cfls. I have have be reluctant to use a 400 watt hps because of the heat issues But now i believe that a 250 watt hps would be adequate for my size room. I know that 250 watts of hps and 250 watts of cfl is not the same but my question is a to be knowledge a 250 watt hps is apox 27000 lumens. so would 27000 lumens of cfl light be the same as 27000 lumens from a hps light.
