I was going by the forecast costs in 2024 by bing ai, i think it must've meant 29 as i asked for it rounded off to the penny, i don't know about the day charge but by the sounds of it i might have to give the plants 12/12 of 90w or 18/6 of 50w and hope i get a result. Bloody unexpected extra...

I ended up ordering a migro 3 250w (so that's 2 and a 1/2 plants haha) and i think i'll get a mars hydro 3x3 tent for it, but i've never used led before only HPS, neither have i ever grown auto's so i've got plenty of learning to do. Not sure how many i'm going to fit in the 3x3 but perhaps less...

UK electricity costs/amount of light required: Originally it was my intention to get a migro aray 4 500w and a MH 4X4 tent, after looking at electricity costs i decided i'm going to get a migro 3 250w and a MH 3X3 tent so it was more doable financially. I'll copy/paste my questions to bing ai...

Thanks. I had to search what dli was as i've never heard the term before. I'm probably going to need a meter or something to read it. I'll be using a migro 4 500w, from what i've read they're quite good for getting the right light in the right places and so might be okay for dli, but i don't...

Thanks loads, i had to search DLI to find out what is meant, i haven't got a DLI reader, but the light will be a migro aray 4 500w. From what i've read, these perform exceptionally well when it comes to leds/par e.t.c.. I don't know if i'll end up getting a dli meter, by the sound of it i'll...

Oh right, cheers mate. I think i'm off to run at 100w for veg, then crank it to 500 for the flowering (that bit'll cost plenty depending on the trichomes' maturity time). But that's dependant on the strain, i've got 5 auto' seeds of gorilla glue (by autoseeds dot com via discreet seeds) but i'm...

Thanks for responding. I think i should've mentioned i'll be growing auto's, probably at 18 hours a day. At 100 watts it would cost £8.60 a day. Will it be a waste of time trying to flower them at 250 watts, i think they will still grow, but will they just be grossly low quality medicine...

Sorry, i meant £127 a month running at 18 hours a day as they'll be auto's. What do you think will happen if i try flowering at 250watts, will it not be enough for good quality smoke? Thanks.

Thanks for responding. Will my plants flower properly dimmed to 250w? I certainly hope so, as running at 500w it'll cost £127.89 a week, which is undoable, they'll end up coming round with a locksmith to change the meter to a prepayment one resulting in the leccy costing even more, so i'm...

Merry Chrimbo all! I was wondering if i could try and get some advice. I'm on the verge of getting a grow set up once and for all, but i'm struggling to decide on a light while there's still a sale on Migro Aray 4X4 LED Grow Light 500w – ledgrowstore.co.uk . I've decided to invest in a migro...

Saving and searching for an affordable but effective carbon filter.

Thanks but it's too late now, earlier today i ordered a 5" Rhino hobby 125mm x 300mm 5" x 12" for £43. Hopefully it works out okay, and perhaps i can upgrade in the far future. Thanks for the advice.

Hello all. After finding out about pathogens in the second hand filters, i asked the seller some questions (politely) last night, when i turned my computer on this morning i found he'd cancelled the order, so now i'm searching again. I haven't got enough experience or resources to buy a...

Thanks. Is there any special method of bouncing the filter to avoid damaging it that you know of?

Thanks, i've seen Vivosun getting fairly good reviews. Advice based on personal experience is invaluable. I'm going to save for one. Cheers!

That's honestly very reassuring, however, i can't get compressed air, don't know what charcoal agitating is (yet). don't know what ISO is and had absolutely no awareness pathogens could exist in the filter itself and i need to kill them. A forum member is very kindly donating a 5" systemair to...

Thanks. I turned on my computer earlier today and got an ebay offer of a watched item, 22 quid for a Rhino Hobby Carbon Filter 6 Inch 150 X 300 mm 600M3/Hr which i had enough for so i bought it. In the description it says the life of the filter is 2 years but in the further description it says...

I'm not expecting much of a yield to be honest, another reason the Strawberry Banana Auto is so appealing. Unfortunately, they don't ship outside the u.s., i'm in the u.k. I appreciate the suggestion regardless. Thanks very much.
