Brown pistils in 3rd week of flowering - what does it mean?

I would say don't worry. It's common for random pistils to change color around 3 or 4 weeks outdoor.

    Ok this isn't funny anymore.

First time growing. I keep reading how plants can double in size when flowering begins, but this is getting ridiculous. Flowers are just starting to form, no way this thing doubles, right? She's at 8 ft 4 inches now. I assume it's too late to top them once flowering starts.

    Should I be concerned?

I'm going to observe them and see if it continues. I cut off the first two I saw in May as soon as I spotted them.

    Should I be concerned?

No they are well above the soil. It's been happening since a couple weeks after putting them outside. Middle of May. I can count on both hands how many spots like this there are though.

This image is what I assume is the same thing if left untouched for longer.

    Should I be concerned?

3 different plants all randomly show brown/gray spots, more like stripes, on the base of leaves in bud sites. I say brown/gray to the naked eye, but almost looks purple in the pics. Is this a fungus or a natural occurrence? I removed the first two bud sites when I found them, but I'm starting to...
