Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Been diagnosticating a lot more - next time around I am definitely going to try the amended soil method! I'm learning a lot and learning to appreciate the intricacies of indoor growing and mimicking an ideal growth environment... The blackening/curling of the leaves has been progressing upwards...

Thanks Crimson for the advice. Mix should be clean, but aside from Mataro #1 (she's massive) it isn't. By the way I checked out your grow journal....beautiful! Been diagnosticating a lot more - next time around I am definitely going to try the amended soil method Crimson!! I'm learning a lot...

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

New Developments: After today's watering/feeding, I got some more runoff. Used 1.5 gallons per plant. 0.5 gallons of pure water to start slowly and gradually. Then fed an additional gallon of food. Water/Food combo was ~1300ppm, 6.3 pH before application. Looks like I fucked up my ppm reading...

Sound advice especially if there are dry spots. I will water more gradually instead of just dumping it all on over a span of a minute.

Yeah that's what I had heard that they like to eat...impossible to take good pictures in that jungle, just looks like one massive plant all growing together. Going to up the food.

Please help me identify this issue!

Yeah nor am I well versed in those metrics.....but it does seem low compared to what I've seen. My mataros were all clocking in between 500-800ppm...and then the Blueberry was 250. So maybe she needs to drink AND eat more.

Thank you White. This is deeply insightful. I should have done more research on my medium! Outdoor grower entering the Great Indoors here :-) This is my medium: https://www.pthorticulture.com/en/products/pro-mix-hp-mycorrhizae/ The moisture meter is not very reliable. I will resume watering...

Please help me identify this issue!

Thank you beachwalker. My findings is that soil generally likes 6.5 but for max K absorption could lean closer to 6.3-6.4. I hope Promix Mycoorhizae likes the same.

Thanks a lot for your response. I appreciate it. I am also thinking that it could be an embarrassing over-watering issue. I will let the soil dry out completely before watering/feeding again..... Anything else I can be doing to help this lady along?

Please help me identify this issue. Dutch Passion Blueberry. Day 40 flowering. In a 3x3x5.5' tent with 3 other Mataro Blues. 400w HPS. The mataros are also having issues (but more so yellowing of the fan leaves, then curling up and falling off - will post those in a separate thread). Temps...

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Day 39 Flowering. Update. Have done lots of work making sure all the taller branches are tied down or to the side, and not getting too close to the light. I think the nute break and watering break has done them some good, continuing to water only the largest mataro today. Pruned several of...

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Day 37 Flowering. Update. Continuing to prop up and tie branches so all buds are getting optimal light. Also making sure top colas are not too close to the light - some had already gotten some light burn. Definitely popcorn buds on the lower canopy. Took a few of the sick leaves off and took...

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Day 35 Flowering. Update. Plants seem to be responding well to the additional 2 gallons of water ran through their root systems. All the run-off was re-absorbed quickly (within 12 hours) except for the Blueberry, she took about 40 hours to re-absorb all of it. After checking the run-off ppm, I...

What does everyone do with their run-off? Do you leave it to be re-absorbed, or get rid of it?

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Day 33 Flowering. Update. (Finally took photos with lights off) Temps remaining between 21-26 C. RH is between 30-40% with lights on. Continue to tie down so that light can access all buds...considering pruning/trimming entire undergrowth canopy as it is not getting tons of light due to...

Mataro Blue x DP Blueberry | First Indoor Grow

Day 10 Flowering. Explosive growth (stretching?) and starting to see buds forming. Here is an update from this past week; decided to tie down the main stem of two of the Mataro's as vertical space becoming an issue. They popped right back up the next day. I also added a third fan to move some...
